If you look closely at the image of him in the glasses, you can see more of a masculine than a feminine face.

I believe there have been civil suits brought to bear on people who supposedly misrepresented themselves sexually though I can't think of any cites.
The problem with those is that most people don't pop up within the introduction with "obtw, I'm lesbian so don't even think it" or the equivalent. Sexual orientation tends to be a private matter. I do feel badly for the true transgenders (of which I've met a couple) where genetic flakiness dealt them a crappy hand and it was either surgery or misery. I know nothing about this guy whose website the OP referenced.... so I won't make any assumptions other than "damn good cosplay". For all I know he's as "straight" as an arrow.

Mist2123's "demotivational" poster is just kind of mesmerizing and stunning.
@Ziv: the text basically translates as "Cross-dressing picture gallery. ..... "not ready for public yet"" or something like that. (offtopic: what is M.U.? Miskatonic University? ).

This is why I like my country, there aren't many chances of falling in these kind of traps around here seeing how we don't have such..errr..."girlie men?" And I don't mean this in an offensive way. I live around farmers so what can I say..

Those cross-dressers who make you go "hey that chick is pretty hot... oh damn it's a guy?...." really do a good job at looking girly . I remember having a classmate in middle school who acted and looked kind of feminine but was completely masculine (mentally and physically).
Personally, I'd definitely not want to be a guy mistaken for a girl; that'd just be really awkward for me.

If get closer to such a "trap" thinking it's a girl, then it is probably unfair, if he doesn't tell you soon that he is a guy, but that's a matter of his personality and has nothing to do with corssdressing itself.
Sadly enough in the end it all comes down to the general fear of gays, of being gay oneself, of merely being thought to be gay... I think it's cool, if men can dress up so genuinely as women...I mean, women dressing up es men are generally thought to be cool, but the other way round isn't? Talk about antiquated definitions of masculinity... |
