No, Keroko is impulsive, and fights on reflexes. While she has trained to think ahead, it is a far cry of being a tactician. While she can quickly think up a small plan in the midst of combat, any form of tactical thinking, particularely pre-mission, is usually done with assistance.

That's not to say she's stupid, but she's not good at looking at combat situations from every possible angle. It's not in her nature. She's a leader, but being a leader does not make you a good tactician.

Pretty much. Keroko has practiced tactical thinking with Tesla, and her career as a Tactical Combat Instructor also has her use it (though those trainings are usually limited to stuff like formations and various combat styles, not deep going missions with various stages), but she knows that she doesn't excell in long-term tactical planning, so she councils those who do before finalizing them.

Keroko's talent is more on the spot improvisation.

When inactive, the Device is worn on a simple silver chain around her neck. Unlike other Devices, however, SaSword has a intermediate form it can assume. In this form, it assumes the appearance of a mechanical scorpion with a body length of about 7 inches. Because it is able to move on its own, many have confused the it with a Unison Device. Sasword has a habit of resting on her shoulder most of the time and will act defensive towards strangers. There have been reports of mild lacerations from its claws and puncture wounds from its tail, but nothing serious or life threatening.

To activate the Barrier Jacket, the sword is summoned with a command of STAND BY from SaSword followed by attaching it to the hilt with the command of HENSHIN.

Serious. That is what many people who have met her would describe her as. Around base and when on duty, she maintains a calm and cool complexion with a 'take no crap' attitude. On missions she focus on the objectives as well as looking after her teammates. She has been known to be relentless against criminals, especially those involved in dealing with Lost Logia.

To those who know her, however, would describe her as reserved and a bit shy. When off duty she laxes her serious attitude, but not completely. Those who have known her since she started on the Program say that she has come a long way in finding herself. Her trust is difficult, but not impossible to earn. Those who have seen her with her close friends back on her home world sometimes have to do a double-take, not believing it's her at first.

Evangeline stands a little above average height for for world with a slight tan. She keeps her hair cut short as she says long hair is too troublesome to keep care of. Everyday she tries to maintain an exercise routine to keep her in shape, which also helps to give her a toned body. When not on base, she likes to dress comfortably in sun dresses or a skirt and shirt should the weather prove to be appropriate. Otherwise she'll dress in jeans and shirts. She does try to keep up with the latest fashion somewhat, but refuses to buy anything that would show off more than she wants.

The Barrier Jacket has two different 'forms' depending on the situation.

Masked Form

A heavily armored Barrier Jacket. The armor allows for the wearer to withstand direct low-power magical attacks and some medium-power magical attacks. Additional armor on the gauntlets allows for the blocking of melee weapons, although weapons infused with barrier-piercing magic have been known to penetrate the armor. Although slower than Rider Form, the user still has a wide-range of movement despite its bulky appearance. Due to the drain of the user to maintain the armor, spell usage is limited in this form. In addition, the tubes on the armor can be used to physically restrain targets within range, but prevents the user from casting any other spells. Bind removal spells rarely work on the tubes as it is not a Binding Spell, but a part of the Barrier Jacket.

Rider Form

By activating CAST OFF, the external armor is expelled (and can be used to inflict damage on nearby targets) to reveal Rider Form. This is followed by the announcement CHANGE SCORPION. While not as armored as Masked Form, the user gains a large speed increase as well as full range of movement. Also, with the external armor discarded, the user can use their full range of spells. An additional feature of this form is access to the CLOCK UP feature.

Administered World 58 was a bustling planet with a fairly advanced society. Skyscrapers dotted the major cities for as far as the eye could see. Conversion from the use of fossil fuels to renewable, non polluting energy sources several decades ago provided a cleaner, healthier environment. But like many advance worlds, no everyone was able to take advantage of such luxuries. Those who could not afford to live in the metropolises lived in smaller towns or villages at a simpler level. Many of these people were jealous of those who enjoyed the easy life while they lived in their simple houses and provided for them by tending the land. Crime rates were high in numerous villages, making them the prime spot for criminals of all walks to gather.

Evangeline was an only child, as having more than one was difficult. The village she lived in was a fair distance from the nearest city, but you could still see the lights in the distance on a good night. Like many children, she dreamed of being able to venture out to the city and indulge in the luxuries it had to offer. At the age of 8, she would have her opportunity to venture to the city, but not in the way she would have imagined. Unknown to the villagers, smugglers had created a secret storage chamber underground to hide their goods before they would move it off world. One of the recent drops had included several Lost Logia. Unstable Lost Logia. It was never determined what happened, but something set off the Lost Logia and they detonated, eradicating the entire village. The TSAB was quick to respond and found a massive, charred crater where the village once once. Very few were found, mostly those who were on the outskirts during the incident. Even fewer were alive. Evangeline was one of the survivors, though at the time wished she had died with her parents.

She would eventually be put into foster care within the city after the investigation concluded she had no involvement. It was from that moment that her hate of magic began. Sometimes she would get into fights with other children who had expressed their interest in or able to use magic. The caretakers tried what they could to stem her anger, but they were of no use. Around the age of 10, she ran away and disappeared into the cast city. Alone and frustrated, she did what she had to do to survive on the streets. Her life would take another turn shortly after she stole from the wrong teen.

Like many cities around the planet, gangs ran rampant in the less maintained areas. Each had their own 'turf' and looked out for one another. One of the teens she decided to steal from was from a local gang. true to their word, they gathered and cornered her to get revenge. At least, that was the initial plan. Whether by pure luck or skill, she managed to take out four of their members during the brawl and was still standing even with her injuries. That was when the leader stepped in. He saw her potential and the fire in her eyes. He knew it would be a mistake to try and take her out. Rather, he offered her a spot in their gang. She was reluctant at first, but the offer of food, clothes, and a roof over her head was too tempting to pass up and thus she became a member of the Discabil gang.

As time went by, she became integrated into the group. The treated her like one of them, not excluding her from their raids or turf brawls. In fact, she gained a fearsome reputation due to her preference for fighting with whatever blunt object she could find. Eventually she would procure a boken during one of their raids and it would be her partner in every fight from then on. From that she gained the nickname "Tsurugi." Battles were won and lost and the raids continued. It wouldn't be until MC 068 when her life would take yet another turn.

A raid on a TSAB storage facility had gone horribly wrong. It was every member for their self as they scrambled to get out and away from the rapidly growing guards. Some had not been so lucky and were caught, Evangeline included. Not being one to give up so easily, she struggled against the guards, but was subdued and locked in a cell. The next day she was approached by a man in a suit, offering her the chance to get out of her upcoming prison sentence. He claimed to have seen the footage of her during the raid and was impressed by her determination and crude combat skills. The project he was working on was in need of such a person and he offered her the job. She was reluctant to accept such a convenient way out, but she really didn't have many options left, and jail was not one of them.

The next day she was released under guarded escort and taken to the TSAB research facility in the city. There she found she was to be the user of a new Device they were developing in Project ZECT. To say she was furious would be an understatement. She was confined to her quarters until she decided to cooperate or, if she refused, released back to the authorities for her jail sentence. A day later she found one of the researcher assistance at her door. The brunette girl around her age introduced herself as Melissa and wanted to talk. She wasn't in the mood and nearly punched the girl as she insisted on talking. The terrified look in those eyes that stared at her from her crumpled position on the floor made her remember of a time she wanted to forget. It was the same look she had after the incident, that same terrified look. From that moment they talked, bit by bit. This was probably the first time she had been able to really talk to someone without having to keep a tough attitude or fear for her life. It was also through these talks that she re-evaluated the viewpoint she had since that day. Magic was not at fault for what had happened to her village that day, but rather the smugglers and criminals who stored them and those who wished to use the items for their own benefit. She now had a new drive; to prevent another incident from happening again and punishing those who would use magic and Lost Logia for their own selfish purposes. And Project ZECT would be the means by wish to help her accomplish her new purpose.

Time went by as she worked with the research team on the Zector, as they called it. The simulations and testing were hard, but she pushed forward. On her off time, she would chat with Melissa, the two becoming close friends. It also also through Melissa's persistence that she had 'rediscovered' some of her femininity. While she still maintained her serious attitude, she found herself enjoying shopping and gossiping although not many saw this side of her.

The battle ended with neither side losing. After seeing Fate’s Sonic Form and the Zanber form’s capabilities, the Aldian Knights decided to pull out. After, the King found out that the TSAB has taken a hold of one of the researchers and some of the research documents; he ordered Asclei and Lanos to retrieve it by all means. As Asclei and Lanos approached TSAB’s newly developed ship Varuna, Fate and Teana faced them while Chrono prepared Varuna for escape. The battle lasted 5 minutes and ended with Asclei and Lanos being captured.

An interesting premise. Could you possibly expand on this more so that we have a better idea of what you're attempting? Right now it's just an idea, but it's sort of hard for some people to get an idea of what you're attempting presently.

Alright, I'm just starting to write the storyline...this is my first time creating one so it cant be helped if it may seem stupid.

The story takes place at Corsel, the planet that supplied most of TSABs raw materials need for creating devices and other equipments for their mages. During StrikerS, a coup de tat almost broke out in the Kingdom of Aldia—the largest and most prospered kingdom in Corsel. The rebels tried to overthrow the King of Aldia due to his tyranny and to stop any further expansions since it might become an interdimensional issue. However, the information was leaked and the rebels were crushed before they could initiate their plans.


The leaders of the rebels who happened to be mostly council members of the king were executed right away. Cities and towns that secretly supported the rebellion were burned to the ground. Its people were severely punished and few lived to tell the demise of those who perished. TSAB decided not to support the rebels because even though the King is tyrannical, he is the one that provides them the materials that they needed the most. In addition, TSAB had a treaty with Aldia--stating that TSAB will not intervene in any domestic issues in Aldia as long as they provide the materials that the TSAB needs and inform them of all business transactions that the Aldian Kingdom had with other countries or planets. Not only that, TSAB had no time to waste on other people's issues due to the fact that the Midchilda itself is in danger of being destroyed by the Cradle.


One year and seven months later, TSAB not only found out that Jail Scaglietti was working for the TSAB High Council who supported them financially…TSAB also discovered that the ones that provided the necessary material for Scagliettie’s inventions was none other than the Aldian Kingdom. The new High Council confronted the Aldian King about the issue and accused him of violating the treaty for not giving them any information in regards of the materials that was shipped secretly. The King defended himself by saying that the even though the rest of the TSAB ranks didn’t know of the business transaction that he had with the former three High Councils, it doesn’t change the fact that Aldia made deals with TSAB officials. In addition, he DID inform the TSAB about the shipment records since the former High Council members knew about it and was not his fault that the three of them kept it as a secret. The High Council stated that they were supposed to send the data to the Interdimensional Trading Agency of Midchilda and not directly to the former High Councils.

The arguments on the issue lasted three months and escalated to the point where the Aldian Kingdom stopped supplying TSAB with the materials they need. TSAB now had no other choice but to rely heavily on smaller kingdoms for supplies. Due to lack of materials, many research and weapons development programs in the TSAB progressed slowly. A month later, the Aldian Kingdom found out that the Kingdom of Orthia has been hiding some of the rebels that planned to overthrow the Aldian King a year and eleven months ago. The Aldian King demanded for the rebels to be handed over; however, the Orthian Kingdom refused since the Aldians that they hid were just the families of those who planned the rebellion. In addition, those people have become citizens of Orthia itself. However, the Aldian King could careless. Thus he sent 2045 troops, 504 tanks and 30 Aldian Knights in the borders of Orthia. It seems war was inevitable. As they cross the border, they saw 3,025 Orthian Troops approaching…much to their surprise…the TSAB ground forces were there as well. After 6 hours, the battle commenced and lasted for 2 days. The battled ended with the Victory of the Aldians. The presence of the Aldian Knights contributed greatly into their success. The Orthians in the other hand lost 2,733 of its troops and the TSAB ground forces lost many of its tanks and mages.


Since the Orthia is one of the few kingdoms that supplied the TSAB with the materials they need; they had to protect it. Another thing that bothered the TSAB the most was the reports from its allied kingdoms in Corsel regarding the Aldian Kingdom’s possible involvement in human experiments and researches that was banned by the TSAB.. The TSAB also received reports that the Aldian Army has been increased more than the allowed amount. As a result, TSAB sent their only newly developed ship, Varuna. They then assigned Admiral Chrono Harlaown as its captain and was accompanied by Enforcers Fate T. Harlaown and Teana Lanster to investigate if the reports were true. In addition, in order to strengthen their forces in Orthia, TSAB sent Signum as well as the 97-109th Battalion.


After the arrival, Varuna stayed floating in a nearby lake that was surrounded by a forest which was about 98 kilometers away from the borders of the Aldian Kingdom. Two days have past since their arrival, Fate and Teana began their investigation. During their investigations, Fate and Teana found out that the Aldian Kingdom’s military force was bigger than the treaty allows. On the third day, another agent informed Varuna about a research facility in the Vealar Mountains. Fate and Teana headed to the location that was stated in the report; as they arrive in the mountainous area, they found out that the facility was heavily guarded by soldiers. Teana then used Optic Hide EX Plus on Fate and on herself and manage to get past the security. Then they came across a big door. It was big enough for Voltaire to fit in. Then they followed the instruction that was included in the report and inserted the security cards in the left and right side of the door and pressed the switch at the same time. The door slowly moved sideways….a cold mist came out from the opening….and then as they walk slowly, they saw several bodies in tubes. Some were dissected and had cybernetic parts added on to them. Many of them had labels on them--such as how long the subject lived after the implantation of the cybernetic parts, the name of the subject, and age. They also saw several body parts and internal organs in others…some of it belonged to children. Fate and Teana were hesitant but they kept on moving and stumble upon the researchers’ desks. They picked up the documents that was around the desk and started reading parts of it. As they read, Fate and Teana found out that it was a research to improve the current Combat Cyborg technology. They also found out that many of the subjects were taken from the towns or villages involuntarily. Then Fate and Teana moved on to another room and as they walk, they could smell a familiar scent…..they entered the room and turned on the lights…Teana dropped to her knees and vomited right away after seeing the blood all over the rooms and in the beds….it was the room where they dissected the subjects and implanted cybernetic parts on them while they were still alive…Fate was blanked out but she came back to her senses when a researcher opened the door and saw them. Fate then restrained the man and decided to take him out before he could make any noise. Then Fate and Teana decided to take him to Varuna for questioning. As they gathered research documents, more researchers came in. Teana then used Optic Hide EX Plus to hide herself and Fate who was carrying the researcher and made their escape.


After avoiding several soldiers who were guarding the facility, Fate and Teana made it out and headed directly to Varuna as fast as they could. As they make their way through the mountainous area, a powerful blast of wind suddenly hit Teana which knocked her off her flight path. To make it worse, Optic Hide EX Plus was disabled after she received the attack.. Fate was about to go down to the ground to help Teana; however, someone suddenly attacked her but she managed to block the sword with Bardiche. As she gaze at the one who made the attack, she saw a man with black hair and red eyes…he was carrying a zweihander class sword but it was shorter compared to the Zanber Form. As she prepared to use lightning bind to get the researcher out of the way, another blast of wind was on its away. Fate managed to avoid it with Blitz Rush. Another man made his appearance, this time his weapon was a pair of swords which was attached on his gauntlets and a powerful gust was completely surrounding him. His hair was dark brown and his eyes were blue. Fate was at a disadvantage, not only she can’t defend herself properly while carrying the researcher; she can’t also fight in full force.





I have a question. Does the mage rank have anything to do with how skilled a person on using a weapon?

cuz I'm thinking to make Asclei a AAA mage but his sword skills are equal to Fate and Signum...

Cloud with blue hair, and way less moody, and more snarky like Nagi. However, Artei can get serious, like when his comrades are threatened.

A completely new addition to his profile is his family background, and their private militia, the Forty Thieves. The 40T are part of the melting pot Saint Guard as well, and, like most of the minority forces that make up the SG, are not part of the Black Guards under Brother Marcius.

The Black Guards eventually defect to Skane's side before StrikerS, since the High Council assassination is a StrikerS event.

At least that's what I think. Mission 2 isn't enough for me to grasp the full extent of things...

In this form, it assumes the appearance of a mechanical scorpion with a body length of about 7 inches. Because it is able to move on its own, many have confused the it with a Unison Device. Sasword has a habit of resting on her shoulder most of the time and will act defensive towards strangers. To those who know her, however, would describe her as reserved and a bit shy. When off duty she laxes her serious attitude, but not completely. Those who have known her since she started on the Program say that she has come a long way in finding herself. Her trust is difficult, but not impossible to earn. The Barrier Jacket has two different 'forms' depending on the situation.

Masked Form

A heavily armored Barrier Jacket. The armor allows for the wearer to withstand direct low-power magical attacks and some medium-power magical attacks. Additional armor on the gauntlets allows for the blocking of melee weapons, although weapons infused with barrier-piercing magic have been known to penetrate the armor. Although slower than Rider Form, the user still has a wide-range of movement despite its bulky appearance. Due to the drain of the user to maintain the armor, spell usage is limited in this form. In addition, the tubes on the armor can be used to physically restrain targets within range, but prevents the user from casting any other spells. Bind removal spells rarely work on the tubes as it is not a Binding Spell, but a part of the Barrier Jacket.

Rider Form

By activating CAST OFF, the external armor is expelled (and can be used to inflict damage on nearby targets) to reveal Rider Form. This is followed by the announcement CHANGE SCORPION. Administered World 58 was a bustling planet with a fairly advanced society. Skyscrapers dotted the major cities for as far as the eye could see. Conversion from the use of fossil fuels to renewable, non polluting energy sources several decades ago provided a cleaner, healthier environment. But like many advance worlds, no everyone was able to take advantage of such luxuries. Those who could not afford to live in the metropolises lived in smaller towns or villages at a simpler level. Many of these people were jealous of those who enjoyed the easy life while they lived in their simple houses and provided for them by tending the land. Crime rates were high in numerous villages, making them the prime spot for criminals of all walks to gather.

Evangeline was an only child, as having more than one was difficult. The village she lived in was a fair distance from the nearest city, but you could still see the lights in the distance on a good night. Like many children, she dreamed of being able to venture out to the city and indulge in the luxuries it had to offer. At the age of 8, she would have her opportunity to venture to the city, but not in the way she would have imagined. Unknown to the villagers, smugglers had created a secret storage chamber underground to hide their goods before they would move it off world. One of the recent drops had included several Lost Logia. Unstable Lost Logia. It was never determined what happened, but something set off the Lost Logia and they detonated, eradicating the entire village. The TSAB was quick to respond and found a massive, charred crater where the village once once. Very few were found, mostly those who were on the outskirts during the incident. Even fewer were alive. Evangeline was one of the survivors, though at the time wished she had died with her parents.

She would eventually be put into foster care within the city after the investigation concluded she had no involvement. It was from that moment that her hate of magic began. Sometimes she would get into fights with other children who had expressed their interest in or able to use magic. The caretakers tried what they could to stem her anger, but they were of no use. Around the age of 10, she ran away and disappeared into the cast city. Alone and frustrated, she did what she had to do to survive on the streets. Her life would take another turn shortly after she stole from the wrong teen.

Like many cities around the planet, gangs ran rampant in the less maintained areas. Each had their own 'turf' and looked out for one another. One of the teens she decided to steal from was from a local gang. true to their word, they gathered and cornered her to get revenge. At least, that was the initial plan. Whether by pure luck or skill, she managed to take out four of their members during the brawl and was still standing even with her injuries. That was when the leader stepped in. He saw her potential and the fire in her eyes. He knew it would be a mistake to try and take her out. Rather, he offered her a spot in their gang. She was reluctant at first, but the offer of food, clothes, and a roof over her head was too tempting to pass up and thus she became a member of the Discabil gang.

As time went by, she became integrated into the group. The treated her like one of them, not excluding her from their raids or turf brawls. In fact, she gained a fearsome reputation due to her preference for fighting with whatever blunt object she could find. Eventually she would procure a boken during one of their raids and it would be her partner in every fight from then on. From that she gained the nickname "Tsurugi." Battles were won and lost and the raids continued. It wouldn't be until MC 068 when her life would take yet another turn.

A raid on a TSAB storage facility had gone horribly wrong. It was every member for their self as they scrambled to get out and away from the rapidly growing guards. Some had not been so lucky and were caught, Evangeline included. Not being one to give up so easily, she struggled against the guards, but was subdued and locked in a cell. The next day she was approached by a man in a suit, offering her the chance to get out of her upcoming prison sentence. He claimed to have seen the footage of her during the raid and was impressed by her determination and crude combat skills. The project he was working on was in need of such a person and he offered her the job. She was reluctant to accept such a convenient way out, but she really didn't have many options left, and jail was not one of them.

The next day she was released under guarded escort and taken to the TSAB research facility in the city. There she found she was to be the user of a new Device they were developing in Project ZECT. To say she was furious would be an understatement. She was confined to her quarters until she decided to cooperate or, if she refused, released back to the authorities for her jail sentence. A day later she found one of the researcher assistance at her door. The brunette girl around her age introduced herself as Melissa and wanted to talk. She wasn't in the mood and nearly punched the girl as she insisted on talking. The terrified look in those eyes that stared at her from her crumpled position on the floor made her remember of a time she wanted to forget. It was the same look she had after the incident, that same terrified look. From that moment they talked, bit by bit. This was probably the first time she had been able to really talk to someone without having to keep a tough attitude or fear for her life. It was also through these talks that she re-evaluated the viewpoint she had since that day. Magic was not at fault for what had happened to her village that day, but rather the smugglers and criminals who stored them and those who wished to use the items for their own benefit. She now had a new drive; to prevent another incident from happening again and punishing those who would use magic and Lost Logia for their own selfish purposes. And Project ZECT would be the means by wish to help her accomplish her new purpose.

Time went by as she worked with the research team on the Zector, as they called it. The simulations and testing were hard, but she pushed forward. On her off time, she would chat with Melissa, the two becoming close friends. It also also through Melissa's persistence that she had 'rediscovered' some of her femininity. While she still maintained her serious attitude, she found herself enjoying shopping and gossiping although not many saw this side of her.

As Asclei and Lanos approached TSAB’s newly developed ship Varuna, Fate and Teana faced them while Chrono prepared Varuna for escape. The battle lasted 5 minutes and ended with Asclei and Lanos being captured.

The story takes place at Corsel, the planet that supplied most of TSABs raw materials need for creating devices and other equipments for their mages. During StrikerS, a civil war almost broke out in the Kingdom of Aldia—the largest and most prospered kingdom in Corsel. Its people were severely punished and few lived to tell the demise of those who perished. TSAB decided not to support the rebels because even though the King is tyrannical, he is the one that provides them the materials that they needed the most. In addition, TSAB had a treaty with Aldia--stating that TSAB will not intervene in any domestic issues in Aldia as long as they provide the materials that the TSAB needs and inform them of all business transactions that the Aldian Kingdom had with other countries or planets. Not only that, TSAB had no time to waste on other people's issues due to the fact that the Midchilda itself is in danger of being destroyed by the Cradle.


One year and seven months later, TSAB not only found out that Jail Scaglietti was working for the TSAB High Council who supported them financially…TSAB also discovered that the ones that provided the necessary material for Scagliettie’s inventions was none other than the Aldian Kingdom. The new High Council confronted the Aldian King about the issue and accused him of violating the treaty for not giving them any information in regards of the materials that was shipped secretly. The King defended himself by saying that the even though the rest of the TSAB ranks didn’t know of the business transaction that he had with the former three High Councils, it doesn’t change the fact that Aldia made deals with TSAB officials. In addition, he DID inform the TSAB about the shipment records since the former High Council members knew about it and was not his fault that the three of them kept it as a secret. The High Council stated that they were supposed to send the data to the Interdimensional Trading Agency of Midchilda and not directly to the former High Councils.

It's a reasonably believable story plot, and given the dissected Council's rather dark tendencies, it works. Do expand on this. >3

Additional armor on the gauntlets allows for the blocking of melee weapons, although weapons infused with barrier-piercing magic have been known to penetrate the armor. Although slower than Rider Form, the user still has a wide-range of movement despite its bulky appearance. Due to the drain of the user to maintain the armor, spell usage is limited in this form. In addition, the tubes on the armor can be used to physically restrain targets within range, but prevents the user from casting any other spells. Bind removal spells rarely work on the tubes as it is not a Binding Spell, but a part of the Barrier Jacket.

Rider Form

By activating CAST OFF, the external armor is expelled (and can be used to inflict damage on nearby targets) to reveal Rider Form. This is followed by the announcement CHANGE SCORPION. While not as armored as Masked Form, the user gains a large speed increase as well as full range of movement. Also, with the external armor discarded, the user can use their full range of spells. An additional feature of this form is access to the CLOCK UP feature.

Administered World 58 was a bustling planet with a fairly advanced society. Skyscrapers dotted the major cities for as far as the eye could see. Conversion from the use of fossil fuels to renewable, non polluting energy sources several decades ago provided a cleaner, healthier environment. But like many advance worlds, no everyone was able to take advantage of such luxuries. Those who could not afford to live in the metropolises lived in smaller towns or villages at a simpler level. Many of these people were jealous of those who enjoyed the easy life while they lived in their simple houses and provided for them by tending the land. Crime rates were high in numerous villages, making them the prime spot for criminals of all walks to gather.

Evangeline was an only child, as having more than one was difficult. The village she lived in was a fair distance from the nearest city, but you could still see the lights in the distance on a good night. Like many children, she dreamed of being able to venture out to the city and indulge in the luxuries it had to offer. At the age of 8, she would have her opportunity to venture to the city, but not in the way she would have imagined. Unknown to the villagers, smugglers had created a secret storage chamber underground to hide their goods before they would move it off world. One of the recent drops had included several Lost Logia. Unstable Lost Logia. It was never determined what happened, but something set off the Lost Logia and they detonated, eradicating the entire village. The TSAB was quick to respond and found a massive, charred crater where the village once once. Very few were found, mostly those who were on the outskirts during the incident. Even fewer were alive. Evangeline was one of the survivors, though at the time wished she had died with her parents.

She would eventually be put into foster care within the city after the investigation concluded she had no involvement. It was from that moment that her hate of magic began. Sometimes she would get into fights with other children who had expressed their interest in or able to use magic. The caretakers tried what they could to stem her anger, but they were of no use. Around the age of 10, she ran away and disappeared into the cast city. Alone and frustrated, she did what she had to do to survive on the streets. Her life would take another turn shortly after she stole from the wrong teen.

Like many cities around the planet, gangs ran rampant in the less maintained areas. Each had their own 'turf' and looked out for one another. One of the teens she decided to steal from was from a local gang. true to their word, they gathered and cornered her to get revenge. At least, that was the initial plan. Whether by pure luck or skill, she managed to take out four of their members during the brawl and was still standing even with her injuries. That was when the leader stepped in. He saw her potential and the fire in her eyes. He knew it would be a mistake to try and take her out. Rather, he offered her a spot in their gang. She was reluctant at first, but the offer of food, clothes, and a roof over her head was too tempting to pass up and thus she became a member of the Discabil gang.

As time went by, she became integrated into the group. The treated her like one of them, not excluding her from their raids or turf brawls. In fact, she gained a fearsome reputation due to her preference for fighting with whatever blunt object she could find. Eventually she would procure a boken during one of their raids and it would be her partner in every fight from then on. From that she gained the nickname "Tsurugi." Battles were won and lost and the raids continued. It wouldn't be until MC 068 when her life would take yet another turn.

A raid on a TSAB storage facility had gone horribly wrong. It was every member for their self as they scrambled to get out and away from the rapidly growing guards. Some had not been so lucky and were caught, Evangeline included. Not being one to give up so easily, she struggled against the guards, but was subdued and locked in a cell. The next day she was approached by a man in a suit, offering her the chance to get out of her upcoming prison sentence. He claimed to have seen the footage of her during the raid and was impressed by her determination and crude combat skills. The project he was working on was in need of such a person and he offered her the job. She was reluctant to accept such a convenient way out, but she really didn't have many options left, and jail was not one of them.

The next day she was released under guarded escort and taken to the TSAB research facility in the city. There she found she was to be the user of a new Device they were developing in Project ZECT. To say she was furious would be an understatement. She was confined to her quarters until she decided to cooperate or, if she refused, released back to the authorities for her jail sentence. A day later she found one of the researcher assistance at her door. The brunette girl around her age introduced herself as Melissa and wanted to talk. She wasn't in the mood and nearly punched the girl as she insisted on talking. The terrified look in those eyes that stared at her from her crumpled position on the floor made her remember of a time she wanted to forget. It was the same look she had after the incident, that same terrified look. From that moment they talked, bit by bit. This was probably the first time she had been able to really talk to someone without having to keep a tough attitude or fear for her life. It was also through these talks that she re-evaluated the viewpoint she had since that day. Magic was not at fault for what had happened to her village that day, but rather the smugglers and criminals who stored them and those who wished to use the items for their own benefit. She now had a new drive; to prevent another incident from happening again and punishing those who would use magic and Lost Logia for their own selfish purposes. And Project ZECT would be the means by wish to help her accomplish her new purpose.

Time went by as she worked with the research team on the Zector, as they called it. The simulations and testing were hard, but she pushed forward. On her off time, she would chat with Melissa, the two becoming close friends. It also also through Melissa's persistence that she had 'rediscovered' some of her femininity. While she still maintained her serious attitude, she found herself enjoying shopping and gossiping although not many saw this side of her.

By MC 071 the Project was coming to an end with a fully function Zector: SaSword. Then, in April MC 071 she would receive transfer papers to Mid-Childa and the new Division 66, NERV.

The battle ended with neither side losing. After seeing Fate’s Sonic Form and the Zanber form’s capabilities, the Aldian Knights decided to pull out. After, the King found out that the TSAB has taken a hold of one of the researchers and some of the research documents; he ordered Asclei and Lanos to retrieve it by all means. As Asclei and Lanos approached TSAB’s newly developed ship Varuna, Fate and Teana faced them while Chrono prepared Varuna for escape. The battle lasted 5 minutes and ended with Asclei and Lanos being captured.

She strikes me as a very on-the-fly fighter: Make plan A mid-fight, make plan B the instant A falls through, etc. Am I right in thinking Keroko's a "shoot first, ask later" type?

When inactive, the Device is worn on a simple silver chain around her neck. Unlike other Devices, however, SaSword has a intermediate form it can assume. In this form, it assumes the appearance of a mechanical scorpion with a body length of about 7 inches. Because it is able to move on its own, many have confused the it with a Unison Device. Sasword has a habit of resting on her shoulder most of the time and will act defensive towards strangers. There have been reports of mild lacerations from its claws and puncture wounds from its tail, but nothing serious or life threatening.

To activate the Barrier Jacket, the sword is summoned with a command of STAND BY from SaSword followed by attaching it to the hilt with the command of HENSHIN.

Personality

Serious. That is what many people who have met her would describe her as. Around base and when on duty, she maintains a calm and cool complexion with a 'take no crap' attitude. On missions she focus on the objectives as well as looking after her teammates. She has been known to be relentless against criminals, especially those involved in dealing with Lost Logia.

To those who know her, however, would describe her as reserved and a bit shy. When off duty she laxes her serious attitude, but not completely. Those who have known her since she started on the Program say that she has come a long way in finding herself. Her trust is difficult, but not impossible to earn. Those who have seen her with her close friends back on her home world sometimes have to do a double-take, not believing it's her at first.

Appearance

Evangeline stands a little above average height for for world with a slight tan. She keeps her hair cut short as she says long hair is too troublesome to keep care of. Everyday she tries to maintain an exercise routine to keep her in shape, which also helps to give her a toned body. When not on base, she likes to dress comfortably in sun dresses or a skirt and shirt should the weather prove to be appropriate. Otherwise she'll dress in jeans and shirts. She does try to keep up with the latest fashion somewhat, but refuses to buy anything that would show off more than she wants.

Barrier Jacket

The Barrier Jacket has two different 'forms' depending on the situation.

Masked Form

A heavily armored Barrier Jacket. The armor allows for the wearer to withstand direct low-power magical attacks and some medium-power magical attacks. Additional armor on the gauntlets allows for the blocking of melee weapons, although weapons infused with barrier-piercing magic have been known to penetrate the armor. Although slower than Rider Form, the user still has a wide-range of movement despite its bulky appearance. Due to the drain of the user to maintain the armor, spell usage is limited in this form. In addition, the tubes on the armor can be used to physically restrain targets within range, but prevents the user from casting any other spells. Bind removal spells rarely work on the tubes as it is not a Binding Spell, but a part of the Barrier Jacket.

Rider Form

By activating CAST OFF, the external armor is expelled (and can be used to inflict damage on nearby targets) to reveal Rider Form. This is followed by the announcement CHANGE SCORPION. While not as armored as Masked Form, the user gains a large speed increase as well as full range of movement. Also, with the external armor discarded, the user can use their full range of spells. An additional feature of this form is access to the CLOCK UP feature.

Administered World 58 was a bustling planet with a fairly advanced society. Skyscrapers dotted the major cities for as far as the eye could see. Conversion from the use of fossil fuels to renewable, non polluting energy sources several decades ago provided a cleaner, healthier environment. But like many advance worlds, no everyone was able to take advantage of such luxuries. Those who could not afford to live in the metropolises lived in smaller towns or villages at a simpler level. Many of these people were jealous of those who enjoyed the easy life while they lived in their simple houses and provided for them by tending the land. Crime rates were high in numerous villages, making them the prime spot for criminals of all walks to gather.

Evangeline was an only child, as having more than one was difficult. The village she lived in was a fair distance from the nearest city, but you could still see the lights in the distance on a good night. Like many children, she dreamed of being able to venture out to the city and indulge in the luxuries it had to offer. At the age of 8, she would have her opportunity to venture to the city, but not in the way she would have imagined. Unknown to the villagers, smugglers had created a secret storage chamber underground to hide their goods before they would move it off world. One of the recent drops had included several Lost Logia. Unstable Lost Logia. It was never determined what happened, but something set off the Lost Logia and they detonated, eradicating the entire village. The TSAB was quick to respond and found a massive, charred crater where the village once once. Very few were found, mostly those who were on the outskirts during the incident. Even fewer were alive. Evangeline was one of the survivors, though at the time wished she had died with her parents.

She would eventually be put into foster care within the city after the investigation concluded she had no involvement. It was from that moment that her hate of magic began. Sometimes she would get into fights with other children who had expressed their interest in or able to use magic. The caretakers tried what they could to stem her anger, but they were of no use. Around the age of 10, she ran away and disappeared into the cast city. Alone and frustrated, she did what she had to do to survive on the streets. Her life would take another turn shortly after she stole from the wrong teen.

Like many cities around the planet, gangs ran rampant in the less maintained areas. Each had their own 'turf' and looked out for one another. One of the teens she decided to steal from was from a local gang. true to their word, they gathered and cornered her to get revenge. At least, that was the initial plan. Whether by pure luck or skill, she managed to take out four of their members during the brawl and was still standing even with her injuries. That was when the leader stepped in. He saw her potential and the fire in her eyes. He knew it would be a mistake to try and take her out. Rather, he offered her a spot in their gang. She was reluctant at first, but the offer of food, clothes, and a roof over her head was too tempting to pass up and thus she became a member of the Discabil gang.

As time went by, she became integrated into the group. The treated her like one of them, not excluding her from their raids or turf brawls. In fact, she gained a fearsome reputation due to her preference for fighting with whatever blunt object she could find. Eventually she would procure a boken during one of their raids and it would be her partner in every fight from then on. From that she gained the nickname "Tsurugi." Battles were won and lost and the raids continued. It wouldn't be until MC 068 when her life would take yet another turn.

A raid on a TSAB storage facility had gone horribly wrong. It was every member for their self as they scrambled to get out and away from the rapidly growing guards. Some had not been so lucky and were caught, Evangeline included. Not being one to give up so easily, she struggled against the guards, but was subdued and locked in a cell. The next day she was approached by a man in a suit, offering her the chance to get out of her upcoming prison sentence. He claimed to have seen the footage of her during the raid and was impressed by her determination and crude combat skills. The project he was working on was in need of such a person and he offered her the job. She was reluctant to accept such a convenient way out, but she really didn't have many options left, and jail was not one of them.

The next day she was released under guarded escort and taken to the TSAB research facility in the city. There she found she was to be the user of a new Device they were developing in Project ZECT. To say she was furious would be an understatement. She was confined to her quarters until she decided to cooperate or, if she refused, released back to the authorities for her jail sentence. A day later she found one of the researcher assistance at her door. The brunette girl around her age introduced herself as Melissa and wanted to talk. She wasn't in the mood and nearly punched the girl as she insisted on talking. The terrified look in those eyes that stared at her from her crumpled position on the floor made her remember of a time she wanted to forget. It was the same look she had after the incident, that same terrified look. From that moment they talked, bit by bit. This was probably the first time she had been able to really talk to someone without having to keep a tough attitude or fear for her life. It was also through these talks that she re-evaluated the viewpoint she had since that day. Magic was not at fault for what had happened to her village that day, but rather the smugglers and criminals who stored them and those who wished to use the items for their own benefit. She now had a new drive; to prevent another incident from happening again and punishing those who would use magic and Lost Logia for their own selfish purposes. And Project ZECT would be the means by wish to help her accomplish her new purpose.

Time went by as she worked with the research team on the Zector, as they called it. The simulations and testing were hard, but she pushed forward. On her off time, she would chat with Melissa, the two becoming close friends. It also also through Melissa's persistence that she had 'rediscovered' some of her femininity. While she still maintained her serious attitude, she found herself enjoying shopping and gossiping although not many saw this side of her.

By MC 071 the Project was coming to an end with a fully function Zector: SaSword. Then, in April MC 071 she would receive transfer papers to Mid-Childa and the new Division 66, NERV.

Great work on Evangelina. Her history is a nice touch to the character in all. An addition to NERV certainly bodes well. Is she the tsundere you were planning though?

When TSAB sent Fate T. Harlaown and Teana Lanster to investigate a research facility in the Aldian Kingdom, two Aldian Knights intercepted them during their mission. The battle ended with neither side losing. After seeing Fate’s Sonic Form and the Zanber form’s capabilities, the Aldian Knights decided to pull out. After, the King found out that the TSAB has taken a hold of one of the researchers and some of the research documents; he ordered Asclei and Lanos to retrieve it by all means. As Asclei and Lanos approached TSAB’s newly developed ship Varuna, Fate and Teana faced them while Chrono prepared Varuna for escape. The battle lasted 5 minutes and ended with Asclei and Lanos being captured.

The story takes place at Corsel, the planet that supplied most of TSABs raw materials need for creating devices and other equipments for their mages. During StrikerS, a coup de tat almost broke out in the Kingdom of Aldia—the largest and most prospered kingdom in Corsel. The rebels tried to overthrow the King of Aldia due to his tyranny and to stop any further expansions since it might become an interdimensional issue. However, the information was leaked and the rebels were crushed before they could initiate their plans.


The leaders of the rebels who happened to be mostly council members of the king were executed right away. Cities and towns that secretly supported the rebellion were burned to the ground. Its people were severely punished and few lived to tell the demise of those who perished. TSAB decided not to support the rebels because even though the King is tyrannical, he is the one that provides them the materials that they needed the most. In addition, TSAB had a treaty with Aldia--stating that TSAB will not intervene in any domestic issues in Aldia as long as they provide the materials that the TSAB needs and inform them of all business transactions that the Aldian Kingdom had with other countries or planets. Not only that, TSAB had no time to waste on other people's issues due to the fact that the Midchilda itself is in danger of being destroyed by the Cradle.


One year and seven months later, TSAB not only found out that Jail Scaglietti was working for the TSAB High Council who supported them financially…TSAB also discovered that the ones that provided the necessary material for Scagliettie’s inventions was none other than the Aldian Kingdom. The new High Council confronted the Aldian King about the issue and accused him of violating the treaty for not giving them any information in regards of the materials that was shipped secretly. The King defended himself by saying that the even though the rest of the TSAB ranks didn’t know of the business transaction that he had with the former three High Councils, it doesn’t change the fact that Aldia made deals with TSAB officials. In addition, he DID inform the TSAB about the shipment records since the former High Council members knew about it and was not his fault that the three of them kept it as a secret. The High Council stated that they were supposed to send the data to the Interdimensional Trading Agency of Midchilda and not directly to the former High Councils.

The arguments on the issue lasted three months and escalated to the point where the Aldian Kingdom stopped supplying TSAB with the materials they need. TSAB now had no other choice but to rely heavily on smaller kingdoms for supplies. Due to lack of materials, many research and weapons development programs in the TSAB progressed slowly. A month later, the Aldian Kingdom found out that the Kingdom of Orthia has been hiding some of the rebels that planned to overthrow the Aldian King a year and eleven months ago. The Aldian King demanded for the rebels to be handed over; however, the Orthian Kingdom refused since the Aldians that they hid were just the families of those who planned the rebellion. In addition, those people have become citizens of Orthia itself. However, the Aldian King could careless. Thus he sent 2045 troops, 504 tanks and 30 Aldian Knights in the borders of Orthia. It seems war was inevitable. As they cross the border, they saw 3,025 Orthian Troops approaching…much to their surprise…the TSAB ground forces were there as well. After 6 hours, the battle commenced and lasted for 2 days. The battled ended with the Victory of the Aldians. The presence of the Aldian Knights contributed greatly into their success. The Orthians in the other hand lost 2,733 of its troops and the TSAB ground forces lost many of its tanks and mages.


Since the Orthia is one of the few kingdoms that supplied the TSAB with the materials they need; they had to protect it. Another thing that bothered the TSAB the most was the reports from its allied kingdoms in Corsel regarding the Aldian Kingdom’s possible involvement in human experiments and researches that was banned by the TSAB.. The TSAB also received reports that the Aldian Army has been increased more than the allowed amount. As a result, TSAB sent their only newly developed ship, Varuna. They then assigned Admiral Chrono Harlaown as its captain and was accompanied by Enforcers Fate T. Harlaown and Teana Lanster to investigate if the reports were true. In addition, in order to strengthen their forces in Orthia, TSAB sent Signum as well as the 97-109th Battalion.


After the arrival, Varuna stayed floating in a nearby lake that was surrounded by a forest which was about 98 kilometers away from the borders of the Aldian Kingdom. Two days have past since their arrival, Fate and Teana began their investigation. During their investigations, Fate and Teana found out that the Aldian Kingdom’s military force was bigger than the treaty allows. On the third day, another agent informed Varuna about a research facility in the Vealar Mountains. Fate and Teana headed to the location that was stated in the report; as they arrive in the mountainous area, they found out that the facility was heavily guarded by soldiers. Teana then used Optic Hide EX Plus on Fate and on herself and manage to get past the security. Then they came across a big door. It was big enough for Voltaire to fit in. Then they followed the instruction that was included in the report and inserted the security cards in the left and right side of the door and pressed the switch at the same time. The door slowly moved sideways….a cold mist came out from the opening….and then as they walk slowly, they saw several bodies in tubes. Some were dissected and had cybernetic parts added on to them. Many of them had labels on them--such as how long the subject lived after the implantation of the cybernetic parts, the name of the subject, and age. They also saw several body parts and internal organs in others…some of it belonged to children. Fate and Teana were hesitant but they kept on moving and stumble upon the researchers’ desks. They picked up the documents that was around the desk and started reading parts of it. As they read, Fate and Teana found out that it was a research to improve the current Combat Cyborg technology. They also found out that many of the subjects were taken from the towns or villages involuntarily. Then Fate and Teana moved on to another room and as they walk, they could smell a familiar scent…..they entered the room and turned on the lights…Teana dropped to her knees and vomited right away after seeing the blood all over the rooms and in the beds….it was the room where they dissected the subjects and implanted cybernetic parts on them while they were still alive…Fate was blanked out but she came back to her senses when a researcher opened the door and saw them. Fate then restrained the man and decided to take him out before he could make any noise. Then Fate and Teana decided to take him to Varuna for questioning. As they gathered research documents, more researchers came in. Teana then used Optic Hide EX Plus to hide herself and Fate who was carrying the researcher and made their escape.


After avoiding several soldiers who were guarding the facility, Fate and Teana made it out and headed directly to Varuna as fast as they could. As they make their way through the mountainous area, a powerful blast of wind suddenly hit Teana which knocked her off her flight path. To make it worse, Optic Hide EX Plus was disabled after she received the attack.. Fate was about to go down to the ground to help Teana; however, someone suddenly attacked her but she managed to block the sword with Bardiche. As she gaze at the one who made the attack, she saw a man with black hair and red eyes…he was carrying a zweihander class sword but it was shorter compared to the Zanber Form. As she prepared to use lightning bind to get the researcher out of the way, another blast of wind was on its away. Fate managed to avoid it with Blitz Rush. Another man made his appearance, this time his weapon was a pair of swords which was attached on his gauntlets and a powerful gust was completely surrounding him. His hair was dark brown and his eyes were blue. Fate was at a disadvantage, not only she can’t defend herself properly while carrying the researcher; she can’t also fight in full force.


I have a question. Does the mage rank have anything to do with how skilled a person on using a weapon?

cuz I'm thinking to make Asclei a AAA mage but his sword skills are equal to Fate and Signum...

While I can't spot any areas that need adjustments, the outline seems fine so far. As for your question, it's fine that way. While ranks are a indicator of abilities, it's fine to exceed that sometimes. I would suggest a slight change to designate Asclei as a knight instead of a mage. Minor change yes but it reflects nicely on his level of skill.
