Hi, I remember watching an anime a few years back and never actually knowing the name of it, and it's really bugging me!

The main character is a girl with long blondeish hair and looks maybe 12-14ish(but it's hard to tell since it's anime) Her dress is a purple-ish colour if I remember correctly...

At night, she turns into some kind of magical girl and steals stuff(?)

She has a guy friends with black/dark hair who goes to her school, and before she turns into a magical girl she sends him a message for some reason.

And I'm quite sure that her guy friend's dad is some kind of detective or a police officer?

And I'm quite sure that one of the girl's parents is a magician or something? Probably her dad, but I'm not sure.

I know it's a crappy description but please help! Thanks!

It's always a bit difficult to me to ID without images/non-images description, but that sounds SO likely to be Saint Tail.

Not sure if this is right, but maybe Zegapain. The character seems to be only appearing on one episode (or two... Or, w/e), so I can't really confirm my memory...

Hey guys uhm, I need some help in Identifying an anime, I think I watched it around 2001+ ish.

okay here it goes, The female lead was like an elf; wearing something green and could transform into like, an adult version of herself, I think she's a god or a daughter of a god. The male guy is one of those generic sword wielding typ characters. He's being accompanied by his sword teacher, and I remember there were clones in this anime.

I'm sorry if I can't be more clearer than this. Anywhoo, giving out cookies to those who can help me.

edit: ah yeah I just remembered something... gonna add this

This anime is set into space. The main character is a guy, who looks like a girl. People ridiculed him because of this and he's a hot head. He has an orb like thingthat he could combine with his sword, giving the sword power and I remember there were plenty of these orbs, each have different color and power.

ah that's all I can remember.

edit: the guy's hair color is red
