Probably Germany's mainstay 2nd gen frame. Considering Clarissa's age at 22 which is prime to be pilot material for gen 2 or 1. Plus 3rd gen like Scwarzer Regen is still considered experimental. We can't completely disregard the possibility that Laura's the only one with an active Scwarzer Regen.

The super and the real are mixing... but I think we're making headway... somewhat...

EDIT: If we did treat IS as real robot. What would be the possibility of a second Byakushiki? As of now, only Ichika, Rin, Tatenashi and Houki are piloting specialized units that have no plans to be mass produced.

The IS only seems to cross from real to super when we take into account the evolution capacity and the IS core DNA system(mentioned in volume 3 methinks when Tabane was checking out Byakushiki). Each IS core has its own unique growth but those with their growth stunted(mass produced units), they probably rely mostly on pre-set and equalizers of the base frame. But, that means all MP units are at factory settings or tuned manually.

Charlotte mentions that all IS units tend to be picky with their weapons. would this also apply to MP units?

I remember it was mentioned that hand-held weapon is almost always accepted (hence even ByakuShiki, who lacked Fire Control System of all things) can still use a rifle.

This become the basis of Hanger System in my fanon: a port/frame assembly that turn handheld equipment into fixed module.

Because when I read Ichika's comments, it seemed that military IS were... less restricted in the IS basic capabilities.(which may explain the hard time they had but Ichika only mentioned that the military IS may have a longer running time than they did.)

EDIT: Yes it has (shown in anime anyway), but since even Uchigane has 800.. my assumption that some I.S. are more efficient at using their Shield Point than other.

The latter: Shield Rating. Something like +3 vs +10 shields, allowing them to absorb 10 points of damage per point rather than just 3.

In my fic, I wrote that in tournaments, IS are limited by rules, hence several limits were in place. Those are turned off when fighting in self-defence.

Oh, and you guys have been trying to make too much sense out of canon. However there is an IS which used data from Shenlong much like Silent Zephyr, except it's being developed by America and is the suit of America's Representative Candidate, though she isn't in IS Academy.
