Umineko is a completely separate story from Higurashi, with the exception of one hidden extra, so familiarity with Higurashi isn't necessary to read Umineko.

Best in the west, thx for the link it was really useful for the manga, but i have to ask, why does it say volumes 1 - 4 and 4 - 7 then only give me 3 4 6 and 7? Is it something i am doing wrong, did you take them down, plz help. I AM DESPERATE!. I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE!! plz dont get my hopes up and then crush them, or i may have to Keiichi you (ie baseball bat)

By the way, has anyone seen raws floating around for Meakashi or know if any other groups are working on it?

(I believe Benny's cracking on Tsumihoroboshi?)

Also Parko seems to be swamped with graduating, anyone here interested in translating some Himatsubushi?

How mean to tease me with Japanese. anyway, does anyone else find when they download EBL translation (all of them, but vol 1 in this case) it always says that it is corrupt or something and wont close. Anyone know a way to fix it?

But Sterling is really psyched about Meakashi and it looks like I'll be taking over Himatsubushi (just starting editing chapter 2, the last one that was translated) if either of those tickle your fancy we'd love to edit them?
