Given his age, what's so surprising about it? I wouldn't bat an eyelid if he had said he has a Grandson either. Heck, I'm not married, but I do have nephews already.

Is my age not showing up under my avatar???

There's a few people on this forum near my age and older .... Furudanuki is my age ... SeijiSensei is in his 50s. Hey, we didn't have these interesting little bits of entertainment when we were young (we had to find other esoteric odd hobbies).

Actually I have two sons (age 16 and 21) and am married to their assertive little mom of japanese descent. Neither one better make me a grandfather for at least 10 more years ... Check the post-poll about ages in General Chat for More Useless Information.

I'm fine with people saying they love another --- because I understand the context (soldiers in combat will develop bonds that really can only be described as "love") but I see why you chose "care for" to mitigate the simpler end of the IQ pool.

I never realized. Man, I wish you were my father...MY old man thinks I'm wasting my life on these 'frivolous' pursuits, as he calls them.

Personally, I believe the relationship between Mai and Sayuri is not entirely unlike that of Frodo and Sam in the LOTR movies, and that's the best way I can describe it.

By the way, why are we discussing these topics on the IMAGE thread?

Because we're off topic and the Frodo/Sam analogy is a good one.

Now that you've asked, I certainly can't refuse, can I?

I don't know much of what I can do with it though. At first, I was planning on making Mai semi-transparent. Reality struck me in the head when I remember that what I was making was a wallpaper. So in its stead, I put a picture of the sky Kyoani did back in episode 4. That's how I ended up with the wallpaper as is.

As I said, I don't how to improve it too much. Changing the resolution doesn't help too much because I don't have too good source material. At this point it feels like just compromising for a bad idea.

Ahaha~, I tried a bunch of things anyways . Is it better? Is it worse? I have no idea anymore. It's 6am and I can't sleep. If it turns out horrible, I'll blame it on that. Kawasumi Mai… have fun!

I can't read Japanese.....but being Chinese, I CAN read kanji pretty well. So here's my educated guess as to what they're really saying...

Mai: ........
Mai: Sayuri, you have soft breasts....
Sayuri: Mai!!?

I have distant relatives older than me but they are technically my "nephews", because their grandparents married and had children earlier than my parents, creating a "generation faultline".

Anyway, back on topic, yesterday (January 6th) was
Spoiler for for someone complaining even after he has seen said relevant episode and known what she is:
Makoto's birthday, while today (January 7th) is Ayu-chan's. Give us some Auu~~ and Uguu~~ Power pics!

Kinny was so worried about spoilers in the episode 14 thread, too
Kinny has escaped a -1 due to me not having spread enough around yet (I +1'ed him constantly for the Haruhi novels ). Kinny is lucky

(I accidentally posted this in the wrong thread )
I made another Makoto wallpaper because the other one was annoying me. Now the new one is annoying me…

…Maybe I should put her on the other side…

Well, the birthdays are in Key's official page for Kanon, but not the BS-I page

I finally broke the habit of needing my icons on the left side, so as long as one side is reasonably clear I think the wallpaper is fine.
''
yeah, I have to say the birthdays are public data (Key, wiki, etc) and they really don't reveal much about the plot.

Well, it's not aobut the icon placement that's annoying me. It's the sense of space.

In any case, I fixed up the colours so that it's easier to see her hair.

Sorry about that. I realised the problem after I uploaded it. I'm pretty sure it's easier to see her hair now, although I'm not too sure about how much.
