I'll stick to the 1/144 due to the scale (matches with all my other 1/144 stuff). And it's looking like the non-scale ones are a tad shorter than 1/100 at this stage. *sigh*
Oh, and I finally put together my 1/144 Yui Takemi. Still not done with the paint job but damn the annoyances of buildign the kit just make me appreciate how gorgeous the Takemi really is... BTW: You just KNOW that Tsukuyomi's Takemi is next, don't you...?

My first TSF kit. I really like Mana and her badass red Takemi. By the way, if you're interested, this is a russian DVD-box of "Rumbling Hearts" on the photo. |

I quickly bought one of the last cheap Koto non-scale purple Takemikazuchis out there. I am just afraid that they won't reissue it again since they might focus on the 1/144 scale line. So far, it is one Muv-Luv release per month. Dunno what July will be though, we'll have to wait for Wonder Fest February for announcements.

I would really wonder whether the camouflage comes pre-painted and hence the high price, above that of the Typhoon. But then, Metal Gear Rex wasn't, so it may disappoint some people.
Thankfully it looks damn sexy, much better than the magazine prototype. I've been buying A3s lately, but it appears that Koto kits will always be the superior version due to gimmicks and mechanical detail. Shame on being someone that buys both lines. I already have an A3 Su-37M2, but will still buy a potential Koto one. Don't think I'll get Typhoon then, afterall it may have weight issues, will just have to wait for reviews before I decide. Not getting the Black Shiranui either. I'll just be the proud owner of all Koto Takemis, and perhaps the Su-37s. Next non-scale must be the Infinities Raptor followed by the production version, and then maybe no more non-scales. The Koto non-scale line up appears to be following Revoltech, focusing on main characters only, especially from Total Eclipse. |

The Terminator Camo isn't too bad, only two shades from the look of it.
- Spray the kit one color, let dry. - Apply masking tape/painter's tape (Preferably modeler's masking tape so it doesn't strip off what you already painted) - Spray the other color, let dry - Gently remove the masked tape - Just for protection, spray a clear coat over the entire kit afterwards

Not yet. But I plan to do it in the near future.

Good news! After all, Terminator is my favorite TSF. Just can't decide which is better: Su-37UB or Su-37M2. |
