More mecha!!!

I've been watching alot of mecha anime recently so much so that there are high chances of me dropping a series just because it's missing giant robots... and I'd like more

Heres what I've seen in the mecha genre:
Gundam 00
Gundam Wing
Gundam 08th MS Team
RahXephon
GaoGaiGar
Gurren Lagann
Gunbuster
Diebuster
FMP + TSR
Code Geass
Eva
Eureka 7

Out of those the ones I truly enjoyed were Gurren Lagann, Gundam 00, Diebuster, FMP TSR, Eureka 7 and the last 20 or so episodes of GaoGaiGar.

Gundam Seed & Destiny (personally i think it is the best of all G)
Zegapain (interesting plot with flashy mechas =D)
Gunparade March (Similar to FMP but shorter and less comedy)
Bubblegum Crisis (Light mechas more like armors)

You might friend have excellent taste . It is really nice to see someone enjoying GaoGaiGar even if it was last 20 episode. I am surprise that you didn't watch GaoGaiGar Final yet, it is an amazing ova and if you enjoyed GaoGaiGar then you will like Final. Other show I recommend is Nadesico, Fafner, and any of the Macross series is worth it, especially Plus, Zero, and Frontier. And I just watched Big O recently and it is a good super robot show.
And the incube, I am not saying your wrong but to be honest I would not suggest Destiny, Seed maybe but I think Destiny is a horrible choice. I also forgot to add Gundam, 0083, Zeta, ZZ, Char's Counter Attack, X, G (very different from other Gundam as it is a super robot show), and Turn A are all great series

In your list, you have already seen the most of awesome of mecha, there is no way for you to see better mecha anime.

The only way for you to get more awesomeness, is to play the Super Robot Wars series. If you truly understand the qualities of heroes and have a spirit of steel, you should have no problems adapting the upcoming Super Robot Wars Z.

But for anime there's a couple of holes you can fill, it will extend the amount of awesome you can see, but will not reach the awesome cap you have reached.

Check out the Macross series, arranged by time it aired, mainly:

Macross: Do You Remember Love
Macross Plus
Macross 7
Macross Zero
Macross Frontier

Fill in on the UC Gundam series:

Gundam 0079
Z Gundam
Char's Counter Attack

And do not miss Turn A Gundam. G Gundam for hot bloodedness that you should be able to relate to.

Not Gundam but Nadesico is a must watch as well.

For super robots:

Aquarion
King Gainer
Vandread

Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser as well, but I'm not sure if you can relate to them if you do not know about their original series. They were originally the grandfathers of mecha namely Mazinger Z and Getter Robo, these are OVAs that are released quite recently.

I've always been hesitant in watching Seed + Destiny, I always hear such mixed reviews. Mostly hardcore Gundam fans telling me how much it sucks xD

I think I'll go for Zegapain, and then try and get through the Macross series and also check out the Gundams mentioned.

I've always wanted to watch all of the gundams though since they are so synonymous with the mecha genre.. What's the best way to go about this? Should I go from the very beginning and just work my way through? Are the compilation movies any good as substitutes for whole series'? Or should I just watch the highly rated ones and skip the crap?

@C.A., I started playing SRT:OG for GBA a couple of months ago but my sav file somehow got destroyed and I never could muster myself to start all over again.. Maybe I will someday though.

edit:
@Terrestrial Dream, I actually have the GaoGaiGar ova's downloaded.. I don't know why I haven't watched them yet though haha.. Must've slipped my mind, I'll get right on it!

I see, SRW: OG 1 and 2 for GBA is a great start.

You see, the SRW series was so awesome it was the sole reason I learnt Japanese like a decade ago. It was already awesome then and now its on insane levels. The PS2 versions, basically have anime cutscenes for the battle scenes lol

And they have original characters that are even more hotblooded than Kamina.

Listen to those fellow Gundam fans. The main character "Kira Yamato" is a hack and basically he over powers EVERYONE.... IMO I would stay away from GSD if I didn't want my gundam taste to go sour...

gundam x, the main girl is the cutest in gundam universe yet (silent and the best looking in plain dress) , imo, and not too many people know about this show.

Seed is not so bad itself but say the hell away from destiny. Someone suggested the macross series, I would suggest the very first one, also have you tried new Gaiking? Or Dancouga/Dancouga Nova? GaoGaiGar is part of the Brave Series so if your interessted in seeing the others Might Gaine, Fighbird and Da-Garn are currently being subbed at a somewhat steady pace. There's Gravion, but not many people like it compared to it's sequel Gravion Zwei. There's Zegapain but it's not so much about the robots and more the storyline, how about any of the Getter Robos or the Mazinger shows? There's no Godannar on you list either, there's Dragonnar, patlabor and votoms as well. This at least gives you some choice of more mecha.

anything wrong with that? The plot is great and Kira is far away from being perfect. The only thing that was done poorly were some repeated fighting scenes...

From all the gundam series i only liked Gundam Seed and Gundam 00.

I beg to differ if you talking about Gundam Seed Destiny. Seed is like a modern retelling of the original series but Destiny is a total mess. Some of my major gripes with Destiny is the fact that halfway through, Kira takes the spot light from Shin who is suppose to be the main character of the show. Also towards the ending it's almost the same as Seed's end, Kira fights a clone, a massive planet destroying weapon is built, a certain character sacrifices himself for the Archangle but survives. Not only that Kira survives what was meant to be a nuclear explosion, also there are a crap load of recap eps especially close to the end. Although alot of people have the same problem with Destiny as I do.
