RadiantBeam showed me the flamers beforehand, and I had to fix my desk since I put a hole in it, and that hole was suspiciously shaped like my forehead.

Seriously, though, if they got the omake special was bad, I can't wait to see their reaction to the chapter where the kiddies are born, what with the nice Yuuno/Fate fluff scene in it.

S, I think I'll be able to bring good fanarts of Nanoha & company, as well as ilustrations from Satashi's fics, from wich I would like to make a new one of Syn in order to inspire him/her to start season 2 of Pornstar Vivio. XP

And to start my 2nd Nanoha doujinshi saga. :
I'm looking forward to seeing you create more Nanoha fanart with these new skills then.

*raises hand* I care. And so does pretty much everyone around here.

Flamers are silly. Hating on a simple fanfic for 'degrading the beautifull and pure' love between Nanoha and Fate. I must say the 'there are many people affected by your fic' line made me gag. If you feel depressed by reading a simple fanfic about an anime with a pairing you don't like... I'm not sure I would call you psychologically stable.

I love the fact that apparently they're still reading it. You'd think they'd clue in around I dunno know chapter 1 that this might not be something they'd like and they'd move on.

Hell, when they need something to bash, they need the whole story in order to bash it, no? And in any case I'm pretty sure they're hoping that'll you turn to the so-called Light Side, but hell, just ignore it...And Feel Our Love, Baby.

Thank you for caring. ^^

I don't know. I offered to talk to Anon about it, but I don't have MSN and the link didn't show up. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I wouldn't particularly enjoy talking to him/her, but I just wanted to appease everyone to get things to calm down.

Ought to be interesting to see what reactions we get on FF.net when the kids are finally born, eh, Nanya?

I admit, I laughed at the utter nonsense in the arguments. Is that bad of me?

Don't listen to them Nanya and RadiantBeam. If they actually had logical, polite comments then they're worth listening to, but clearly they don't. Keep doing what you want!

I think they keep forgetting that these are 2D fictional characters There is no "real relationship" because there is no relationship in the first place! It's all made-up! Fiction!

The problem is, these flames remind me too much of the old KotTF of the Ranma 1/2 fandom in its hayday. And believe me, that's a HUGE insult. (KotTF - Knights of the True Fiance) Granted, it disappeared before I really got into fanfiction, but I saw the reviews and the problems it generated. *Shakes head*

To be honest, I can ignore the flames. But the bit "RadiantBeam and Nanya should focus their energies into making a Nanoha story with NanoFate in it" really irks me.

And that's the exact attitude that causes character bashing by authors who get sick of the flames and go "You know what? That hurts my feelings, so now I'll write character X (from Ranma 1/2, it was Akane) as a real mean person (to put it mildly) and every other character as a saint to make character X look worse." (See MetroAnime/Kestral for how it affects someone, and that was in the late 90s and the attitude Kestral has from that has never changed.)

I wouldn't do that, but I needed to say that.

@XenahortCharybdis: You should read the last... 5 or 6 paragraphs, since that's when Wendi, Nove and Ginga started their relationship fully. Plus Nove has some rather nice/soft emotions that she doesn't get to show often.

Edit: When it comes to preferred pairings, any character from before StrikerS, I don't have one. From StrikerS, well, I prefer Caro/Erio (and Lutecia if I want it to be a 3-way relationship), Teana/Subaru (if/when I get around to SSX, then I think I might have to add Ixy into that somehow), and Nove/Wendi.

If, in canon, Nanoha does end up in a romantic relationship with Fate (that is, as a true couple, not just friendship) and it finally is given to us in canon, I can accept that, as long as they're happy. It doesn't matter to me who Nanoha ends up with, whether it's Fate, Yuuno, Hayate or anyone else, as long as the people involved are happy about it.

Really, if someone wrote a Signum/Fate fic and it was good, I would read it. Hell, there's a fic that I'm following that's Hayate-centric and Hayate wants either Nanoha or Fate (or both!), and it's such a good read that I can't complain about it. (Really, that fic is why I found myself liking Hayate a lot more. StrikerS didn't do enough for her.)

This is what really annoyed me, right here. So apparently, I have talent, but I don't have the freedom to devote it to writing what I want to write? Sheesh.... reminds me of my days in the Avatar fandom.

You shouldn't really let these comments from "hardcore" fans put you down. Creativity is what makes a good fanfic. I've read for quite some time already but I've just commented on it. It's the same thing I've said here. I respect creativity.

@RadiantBeam: I want to thank you for helping out with my fanfic. A few more chapters and I'll have it posted on this thread.

Indeed. Flamers are haters, but, as already pointed out, they keep reading it. I don't know whether that's amusing or sad, really, because they keep reading a fiction even though they're "disgusted" by it simply in order to flame it. *Shakes head* Some people make no sense at all.

The worst part is that they say "You know what? You've got talent, but it's being wasted in what you're currently writing. Why don't you write for the OTP? Those skills would be much better there!". I don't think I'll ever understand flamers.

@Nanya and RadiantBeam: Don't worry about flamers, there are lots of other people that do appreciate your writing

If the Light Side is NF, then I will gladly embrace the Dark Side. Then Force Crush them >:3

Anyways...

Hahaha KotTF. Before I settled into my current and likely permanent seat of "screw the ship," I was actually a fan of RanmaAkane. Hell, Ranma was my first fandom. Then the bashing got reeally old, and I realized just how silly flamers are, as well as the fanatics. When I first came into Nanoha, I was a fan of the beamspam and action, not the potential yuri aspect. I COULD have appreciated it, but fandumb leads to fan disillusionment, to which myself and likely others, have come to... dislike it.

It's one thing to like a ship. It's a whole 'nother thing to... well, you know.

Shipping. Serious business.

@Nanya and RadiantBeam: Write how you want to, and don't bother with people who try to influence you to write the way they want you to. Your ideas and thoughts are written to bring out emotions in the reader. If they react strongly to your works, it obviously means you did a good job. Be they mean or nice, people's comments like that just show that you're a good writer.

I support ya 100%

You know... this actually means that technically they're acknowledging it is a good fanfic, but since the fic doesn't have the pairing they like, they can't say the fic is good, so they'll just say the author 'has talent.' So in a way this is also a compliment. Strange and twisted, but a form of compliment nonetheless.

Certainly looks like it. Louise level tsundere, too seeing how they brutally lash out at anyone trying to argue with them.

x_X they should go into the inuyasha fandumb. Sesshomaru x Kagome 4ever

anyways, yeah keep writing. Its hard for me to call those things reviews or reviewers. People use it like a comment system and we know how that works at youtube, so..

I just recently watched "Princess Bride" and I've been thinking; which characters of Nanoha would be who if I did a Nanoha version of "Princess Bride". Of course I would put Nanoha and Fate as Westley and Buttercup...as for the rest...that's a real head-scratcher.

I'd think Yuuno as Buttercup just so Fate could be Inigo (w/ Hayate as Fezzik), but then that makes Vizzini difficult...

No! Signum is Inigo, Vita is Fezzik, but that leaves the rest of the Wolikies out to dry... and I have no idea on Vizzini.

There are too many trios in The Princess Bride and not enough trios in MGLN I think is why it's troublesome.
