I was thinking of watching this to laugh at how terrible the show is. Such as Rosario+Vampire, which I downloaded just for the opening and ending. This show was actually funny. Just something brainless to watch. But I probably wouldn't follow this, ain't my cup of tea.

Chu-Bra got amazing amount of hate and love before the show even aired just from the premise (half expected it to be complete trash and other half expect awesome fanservice, apparently both were disappointed); whereas somehow nobody cared much for BGHK before it airs (not catchy title?). I personally just find Chu-Bra's material boring as I've read the manga before the show aired but I like BGHK a lot more.

Well, to be fair, Yukarin and Hocchan have both improved quite a bit from their Yamato Nadeshiko days. 8)

Oh hey, it's you! And yeah, I'd rather hear her robotic voice than her Music Japan thing again. I think most people would, lol. And of course they're usually modified a bit. I mean, Minorin and Nana mute their crowd and Yukarin just lets them loose. It's just:
1) it's not as noticeable, or shouldn't be as noticeable [srsly Hocchan x Minorin duet was lolwtf your voice Hocchan?]. And despite not seeing Minorin's Summer Live yet, I still haven't heard a solid performance of Paradise Lost live from her.
2) I haven't come across someone talking about Hocchan's actual performance at shows when I browse forums. They just go off about how cute she is or what she did. I at least read about Yukarin giving solid performances and awesome MCs.

And I know Hocchan's budokan live was a 2-day event, but it's just being released next month? That's what, September to May? Eight months? I don't think her being signed to Starchild should make any difference since it's still King Records, but Nana and Yukarin seem to average about five. I should stop now before my head explodes.

I think the brainless-ness is why I enjoy the show. It's not Rosario to Vampire sup-we-spent-the-budget-on-Nana's-singing quality and it's not.... the typical ecchi stuff we see.

Popular girl wanting the shy guy is refre- I kind of want to see if KobaYu goes crazy in this show after all.

I liked Vanilla Salt.

I actually think this has some smart humor in it. It's not a slap stick funny show from beginning to end.

Yukarin honestly improved alot, I've found a random seiyuu concert from niconico that looks like it's from the early noughties with Yukarin and Nana in it. Yukarin was off all over the place, Nana sounded better back then. Considering she's no where near as busy as now. I don't have much to comment on Hocchan, I've only seen a clip of her here and there.

I honestly can't wait for Yukarin on MusicJapan anison special 3. With all the no-autotune glory. They're going to do a little free chat wuth Yukarin and Nana-chan amirite? Somehow I'm more excited about Taniyama on it, first male seiyuu to be on MusicJapan?

It's a shame that the opening and ending wasn't very capturing. Yukarin last two singles were pretty good...You and Me is too catchy...

Yukarin isn't half bad as far as a moe seiyuu idol. Her Little Wish from Animelo 2009 impressed me, but the Elements Garden-like song didn't match her voice. Yukarin isn't trained at singing enka since she's 5...so ya know. Even I can tell she was nervous and I haven't even seen a concert by her @_@

The old videos are gold. I love seeing how 'average' seiyuus look back the days they can barely pay their bills.../is shot

Seriously, I'm really excited about Granrodeo's Budokan show. But their fans aren't really seiyuu fans, they're more j-rock fans. I was somewhat disapointed there isn't such thing as female otagei...Well...except in any concert related to Prince of Tennis.... I wonder what are the j-rock fans reaction at MusicJapan's anison special with the otakus...

For a seiyuu idol who doesn't rely on signing like Nana or Minorin, I'd agree that Yukarin is one of the better seiyuu. Trying to think of moe seiyuu idol and Hanazawa Kana coming to mind first makes me want to stab my ears. Yukarin has messed up somehow singing Little Wish about 5 times now, so yay for not messing up at Anisama! Yukarin looks like she's having fun sometimes at her concerts, but the Anisama thing was just wahhhhhh, even Nana asking her if she's okay.... D:

Seiyuu can still barely pay their bills, ohohohoh~ orz

I think she'd.... sound better than Hocchan? *shot* Maybe go off-tune every now and then, but more consistent singing on the whole. In the making of videos for Anisama 2009, even though it sounds like you're underwater when you're backstage, you can really hear the difference between Hocchan's medley vs the actual set and not so much with Nana and Yukarin. I seriously doubt they'd go through the trouble of autotuning these side things. :/

The BGM probably is kinda average due to the average budget. KHR's OST is terribly meicore despite Toshihiko Sahashi did Gundam Seed and FMP:TSR, which I recall were pretty darn amazing.
