Ah~, I was wondering where the thread was, and it turns out the thread was named differently...
Spoiler for ep1:
Fmm... Interesting! Iyah~, didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be quite entertaining. At since there is nothing else to watch this day, it is perfect that this is here.
For one thing I noticed, but the background is quite nice, no? The character designs... Well, good enough.
Though throughout the episode, I was left wondering why kids and girls who faint all the time are even enlisted in the group... No more men around?
So far, I've take a liking to the male protagonist (?) and his sister, but the female lead... Let's say, her continuous hard-headed, dense brain that doesn't listen to others ended up irritating throughput the episode.
She even goes on about spies or something inside the house, even though it clearly wasn't the time to do that when enemies were outside. And then she just easily trusts(?) them and everything... (-_-)
Still, the parts with Isara kind of felt comical to me. When she suddenly swung down the knife, then the gun, and then she pulls out grenades, and to top it all off, she reveals a tank! ((((;゚Д゚))))ガクガクブルブル
Anyways, surprisingly interesting, so definitely going to continue watching it.
OP was pretty nice too! And the ED was quite cute... Pig with wings?
Preview: Stop fainting, drill-hair.

Speaking as a game player, i really liked this. There's some pretty decent anime original scenes that fit all the game material nicely together. It's expected that we'd see this happening straight away, and glad to see that it's handled quite nicely. None of it feels out of place.
OP shows the cast to come. Missing out quite a few Squad 7 members, though they all can't be shown. I hope this doesn't mean they won't appear, though i have my hopes that they will. At least Edy is shown~
I lol'd at Faldio looking all bishie in the OP. Yeah i know it's the same as the production art for the anime, but still it's just so lol.
Episode ends as the Edelweiss makes it's first appearance. Good way to end the episode.
Location: Coquitlam, BC, Canada/Quezon City, Philippines
Hans looks fuckin' cool.
Oh yeah, so does the other S7 guys/gals too. Hope they get some screen time.

Watching the episode right now. And it is good stuff.
Spoiler for Episode 01:
REALLY good opening sequence. That's all I have to say about it.
The art style is pervasive throughout the show. Pastel anime looks so plain beautiful.
So Susie and Alicia know each other from Brule in this version? Very neat, but I'm left to wonder if Susie is gonna be featured a lot in the anime. Turns out she's still such a softy; she actually faints upon hearing a report on a previous village raid by the Imperials (or something like that).
Welkin's capture by Alicia is still comic gold. There's a lot of changes to it, such as Isara not bailing Welkin out of a jam (at first, at least).
Alicia herself is made to be very true to her game form. I can hardly see a difference in her personality. But there's some very possible differences involving new scenes: after Welkin ends up escaping captivity, Alicia almost takes a shot at him. But she isn't able to bring herself to shoot a "prisoner of war", so she just chases him. A few seconds later, she gets all embarrassed when Welkin is touching her shoulder, though he's doing that to keep the two from being spotted by Imperial Scouts. Very moe scene.
Music from the game comes into the anime, and sounds just as majestic as when it was used in the game. Of course, there's some original stuff too, and it's good as well.
Big scene change: Alicia thinks Welkin and Isara are lying at first when they say they are brother and sister since Isara is Darcsen. Alicia is proven wrong about Isara a few seconds later when Isara shoots an Imperial soldier looking through the window.
So many more scene changes, that I can't list them all! Just watch it!!!
Very strange song for the credits... but I tend to skip credit sequences to get to the next episode previews. Still in Brule, it seems... Susie's still fainting...
