I still believe that School Days would be better without the violent ending. In fact, I really liked it until the final episode. How Kotonoha can make me forgive Makoto in episode 11...that was incredible, School Days.

Not really relate to the topic, but I have just realised i do not use the word "Nice Boat" (unconsciously in casual conversation) as much as that "what the heck" line ("nante kotta ne" was it?).

Was talking with my brother and several times suddenly spurt that line "what the heck" in Japanese out and my older brother was like "what the heck did you say?" and i was like "what the heck did i just say?" -_-'

After you learn something, it can't be unlearnt, i guess....

What? Can't you see it clearly? "Don't cheat on psychotic japanese schoolgirls, or you're borked". It's clear as day...

In more general terms, don't cheat on anyone period, because anyone can easily degenerate into a psychotic Japanese schoolgirl.

This is what I practice these days. Celibacy will definitely not get you killed.

At least not by the manner of getting your guts opened with a huge cleaver and getting beheaded postmortem, then getting your severed head adored all over as blood drips down your carotid arteries on the deck of a boat that's floating off on yonder horizon.

Yep. Celibacy is best!

Fine, I throw in the towel; It really is all about the ending...We wouldn't have morals like this to learn from if we were given a happy ending...

We'd still have morals, but if it had been a happy ending they wouldn't have stuck. Since the ending was violent, the morals stayed with us even after the show ended.

Only if/when the camera directly and clearly focuses on a potential murder weapon following break up scenes will I possibly get that "nice boat" vibe, but that fad is really something I consider unique to School Days as I havn't seen a series quite like it (for the genre it represents) and I probably never will see one like it for quite some time; it truly was a bold series for some of things that happened especially the last quarter and the ending. Maybe the next time an anime ends with chilling, grisly murders on a boat will I crown the nice boat title on it...maybe

I know, that's why I said "morals like this"...

Another lesson? Take up knife combat lessons; You never know when one day you're faced with the choice of losing or keeping your entrails...

Another "truth": 'The power of insanity gives you godly fighting skills'.
Or: 'Shy introverted girls are the most adept murderers.'
I'm just wondering what kind of books Kotonoha read. Obviously many fantasy romances, but I guess he learnt martial arts skills in self-study +using the knife.
But seriously, even without the ending like this we could see relatively clearly what happens if we act like jerks with the girls. But certainly the killing part "crowned" it(though the whole Kotonoha spree was pure gore-service)

There is tsundere and there is yandere. This was super yandare. The epitomy of the crazy psycho bitch trope.

Read Mirai Nikki or watch Higurashi's Sion. You surely change your opinion.
No one can surpass Yuno!
But Kotonoha's action surely was creepy. But I felt more sorry for both her and Sekai at the killing scenes.

Well, if Hinata goes "Schoold Days"(I use this very intentionally now) I think the whole Naruto will become much better. Not to mention if my "theory" is right then Hinata's eyes are the unawakened version of Eyes of Death Perception.

P.S:My "theory" was this:
