Darker Than Black [1st season] generic discussion

I liked the new OP & Closing Songs, not as much as the originals, but quite a bit.
I think the Closing Song may be under-rated right now, dreams are what not or maybe not not that Contractors have which makes it interesting.

With the speculation my thinking is within consensus of MrProphet, Zekori, Kashima, Shinndou.

Water is something in common with Bai, Yin and now Amber.
""Amba" in Russian slang means "death" or "the end"," maybe Amba is the OMEGA in the equation, maybe that is her ability, to facilitate others in bringing about the end.
Along with the may unanswered questions, what was Hei's role in South America disappearing, Carmen, Amber, Bai were there, where was Hei? Did Amber do something with Carmen and Hei to bring about that result, Carmen & Hei both seemed equally clueless in that bizarre interrogation, who was really interogating whom. The scene of Amber handing the lense/meteor to Bai.

well there are a lot of mystery in this new OP such as..
- Why do they think that we will be interested in car racing?
- Why don't they have more Amber on it?
- Why is the first OP so much better?

I was thinking something.. seems like Yin and Amber are old comrades or something.. But Hei never mentioned that he work in team at the same time with Bai, Amber and Yin.. that makes me think that Yin meet Amber before she was asignet to work with Hei.. and maybe Amber ask her to take care of him.. because since de begining Yin shows interest in Hei´s safe...well , its just a ramdom thought infuenced for the whish to have a little love story in DTB

Well, in the end of episode 15 when Amber went to Yin, she says to her "hajime mashite" which excactly means meeting first time and then she says "ohisashiburi" means been a long time so she says too very different things o_o It's confusing - so it's they first meeting or no...? Yin knows Amber's name. However Amber mentioned something like she's searching for "key" for her plan and it seems like it's Yin.

Hei WAS with Amber and Bai in South America. In the flashback we sew he and Amber and in previous episode with Carmine he shouts "Why we are only ones here?". Maybe they was in different groups, but definitly they all was there. And I thought that Amber is pulling strings behind the scene.

I bet Amber and Yin doesn't know each other yet. But Yin is doll so she can track down various people and Amber is contractor so she can feel obseratory spirits. Maybe Yin was tracking Amber and so it is.

Well, I prefered previous op and end too, but I think new aren's so bad. This scene with Hei's mask breaking and he fighting with clones are very mysterious though this is only opening and it musn't be strictly according with anime plot.

I can't wait when Hei meets with Amber directly, yay ^____^

Sorry if this has been asked previously, but is there a consensus concerning the "best" fansub group? I just started this series and am not sure who to go/stick with (although licensing affects that in a big way).

With shows like Death Note I started with the best (IMO): Live-evil, then went with Animanda, and resorted to Kuro-Hana in the end. So, maybe you all could provide a rank of who does this show best and their pros/cons.

All advice appreciated.

I really love the new OP as I really love Antic Cafe, there is nothing at all wrong with the music. Go and listen to that sprial Op and complain 0_0 I wasn't that impressed with the visual's in the OP as much. An cafe rules btw >.>

The ED was unexpected when I was high and mighty color i was like oh cool. What a let down XD I was expecting some crazy yelling rock music. It is an ED song, like most they are slow.
