As a general rule I am anti-F35 which I see as an overpriced unproven platform which buyers will be doing testing for LM while paying them for the next 10 years.... |

Secret Service of Country X: Damn our constitution and laws do not allow us to spy on our citizens without hard reason. How are we supposed to improve our thread detection rate? (that corresponds to the yearly earnings of stock exchange listed companies) We need to outsource this shit to someone who is good at it, doesn't have any scruple, is not too restricted by laws and is a reliable partner. NSA guy 1: Hey fellas, you really think its wise to get such a shit storm in return for a good advertisment of our services? NSA guy 2: Don't worry mate, you will see the president will like our export oriented thinking. NSA guy 1: Ok, I make it look like a leak then. Secret Service of Country X: Wow that NSA shit is serious business lets outsource our not so law-conform activities to the NSA, its worth every penny.

I'm shaking my head at those who think Obama is anywhere near those authoritarians. Obama is doing exactly what he should be doing: Stopping those worthless trash who think they're doing anything good by committing crimes supposedly under freedom and liberty.
How low the "developed" world in general as fallen, thinking peace and prosperity comes at no price. |

And your second point makes no sense : you base your assumptions that what they are doing is a necessity, oblivious that others things could be done for the same results. It's like losing weight, either you eat better, or you do sports, two way of attaining the same result. |

I do not consider what the NSA is doing as a crime, except under a twisted view of rights which is what seems to be the norm these days. Of crouse, that is my view, and I don't expect people to agree with it. Still, I am saddened by the general trend of today, the corruption of the core values people spilled blood for.
Today's "liberalism" is no different from Animal Farm. |
