I still wouldn't be that surprised if she rejected him at this point in all honesty, I feel like that would be more true to her character after all that happened with her at the end of the goddess arc (assuming they all have their memories still since its not made completely clear who's memories were changed when Elsie removed herself).

I don't mind the name change, Elsie got the perfect ending that she wanted so happy for her .

A Chihiro ending is also acceptable because it is the most neutral ending to get which more or less keeps the majority harem intact.

1 Chap left to close this loose end. He HAS to close this one up. If he doesn't I consider this ending a failure. I don't want to see any "left to the interpretation of the reader" BS regarding this.

I recall that happening various times, to name a recent example: certain series where everyone jumped their guns before the ending leading to a massive wave of rage when it ended, Oreimo was it, right?

Well it is possible that Keima just wanted to "properly finish the abandoned route", i.e. make up for his failure last time, after all he is a "god" and "gods" never fail. Oh and a chess rematch vs Diane! He cannot let that one slide after all!

I thought after this chapter that if Tenri's letter didn't happen (we still don't know the remaining contents), then it would either be a Chihiro ending or harem ending, but it DID happen, so this "Tenri flag" is still hanging around. Wakaki must now either go harem route, or make Keima a troll with another fake confession+ Tenri pairing, or crush the "Tenri flag" and make a Chihiro ending.

So tl;dr I can only see 4 endings:

1. Harem
2. Tenri
3. Chihiro
4. God

What is the god ending? The null route, where Keima truly becomes the one who stands above human emotions, i.e. he becomes "Jupiter".

Why is everyone under the impression that Elsie has to be conquered? The way I see it, she has to sacrifice herself and disappear so that Vintage and other bad people won't go after her. If she remains in New Hell, she'll cause problems for New Hell. If she remains on Earth, she'll cause problems for Keima and other humans. Of course, it doesn't have to be so bitter. The whole reincarnation thing is very interesting. Perhaps in the ending, she'll reincarnate as Keima's biological little sister. This assumes Keima's mother conceived a child when she went to visit Keima's father during the Goddess arc. In any case, I can't wait to see what happens.

I wish for the final chapter that everyone will gain their memories and make an appearance at the end. After all the manga is a huge success it wouldn't be right not to include all the heroine in the final chapter.
