The last ep 6 OVA for DD is a tribute to fans. All girls from the 1st and 2nd season are present.. Including Ryofou ^.^. In a true onsen episode like the 1st and 2nd OVA episode, altho the artwork leave a lots to be desire. Feels like they fapped too much for the first 5 episode then have no more strength left to complete the 6th episode, resulting in not so nice drawing of the girls.

ok well finally got round to messing about with this, I just stuck a name on atm as I really can't be arsed making a full wall atm. Think I'll leave that till later, or maybe I'll just leave it to someone else to do as I'm really quite lazy

In a way, Ikkitousen 2 was inevitable, since those nude and seminude figures were selling like hotcakes for a reason that is beyond my understanding. I think the amount of Ryomo Shimei figures have seriously threatened the undisputed crown held by Rei Ayanami figures. Oh, wait, Ryomo is a clone of Rei... figures.

LOL...kinda fail animation yea...but like you said, maybe they ran out of "youth" XD

But one thing I loved about the last special is the song! simply BEAUTIFUL! ^^

Well I agree with you there, I hope they don't ruin Kanu's character.

As for this second season... I thought it was about as good as the first, if not better. The whole "Dragon Jade" thing really brought out an excellent story for the series. =o

A third animated series for Ikkitousen has been announced, it will be called "Ikkitousen: Great Guardians" and it is scheduled to premiere this summer. As if we haven't enough panty shots and ecchines from Rosario + Vampire and They are my Noble Masters .

I feel rather bored if there's no real story plot/development. To many series are just pointless nonstop ecchiness. Besides the sexiness of the characters, nothing really is interesting. Not saying I won't watching it, I was a big fan of this series when it first came out, but just got burnt out.

I'm kinda worried that'll it'll be all new material, though saying that it's a chance for something new. Can't wait.

why would you be worried?
if you've read the manga, with the exception of maybe a few bits and pieces of season 1, and like...the first 3-4 episodes of season 2, the Ikkitousen anime have never followed the manga anyway.

so any notion of anime original or filler material or some such is a pretty moot point.
if you liked the anime to date, anime-original material is pretty much all you've been getting. the only difference is Great Guardians doesn't sound like they're even going to bother pretending they might.

Well Great Guardians seems to have the same director as Dragon Destiny, so I don't expect something too radically different.
