avisynth plugin help?

i downloaded avisynth 2.5 a while ago and recently tried using mftoon for the first time. but it doesnt wanna work. the plugin should be included in the download rite? i see the plugin and its a avsi file. i have the latest version of masktools. heres my script. its pretty simple:

AVISource("C:\Documents and Settings\danniboy\Desktop\moovies\bleach_001\bleac h_001.avi")
deen("a3d",4)
temporalcleaner()
mftoon()

i use it in virtualdubmod and the mftoon stays in black and inactive. even when i try using FastLineDarken it doesnt work either. just stays black and inactive. if anyone knos whats wrong then please help thanx
