You know , this is kind of what I like about Saki. It's not really the battle of Saki vs Koromo, even if it is touted like that. They actually id what Akagi never tried, it is the battle of Saki vs Koromo vs Yumi vs Kana. It is actually an FFA, something I had NEVER seen before in anime so extensively, be it in war, shounen or otherwise sport series, and which am I immensely enjoying.

Ya, even though the heroine is supposed to be Saki, we find people rooting for the other schools just as much.

I love Tsuruga too.

Then again, you'd be hard pressed finding something I didn't love in this series. It's amazing how they just continue to pump out these great characters with compelling backgrounds. Must be at least a dozen lovable rascals by now. And most shows struggle to even keep the main cast of around a handful interesting enough... truly remarkable.

This episode has absolutely no fillers or flashbacks of any sort.

Well probably their going to do recaps/flashbacks and extend the end a bit.

Don't think so, looks like this episode covered rest of 1st han-chan, but 2nd one was covered much more in manga, so I expect 3-4 episodes and then ....... Gonzo

It was basically just Koromo showing us the demon that she is, and the three schools trying their best to stop her. Some great scenes from Koromo in the second half, fire hand and all.
