The point: Is the PLA bluffing, or do they really have the capabilities?

Well, it would have more weight if it was comming from a third party.
They can say whatever they want; everything points out at China (especially since Canada was also targeted last year). It was a "duh!" moment when the news came out. I'm more interested in seeing what form of retaliation the US will take on this one.

Hacking into the top CCP members' bank accounts and stripping them out of all their money would be comical at this time.

The money is stored in secretive accounts. You don't want to piss off the Swiss.

One more thing : hacking is not easy. Even as a script kiddy with tools; one must first understand the system and how to exploit vulnerabilities in order to hack it.

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Don't look down on the Swiss. For all you know, the whole country will use Selfdestruct on itself at the slightest provocation, taking the bank accounts of all the rich bastards with it.

Brazen Jewel Robbery at Brussels Airport Nets $50 Million in Diamonds

Quote:
BRUSSELS — They arrived at Brussels Airport armed with automatic weapons and dressed in police uniforms aboard two vehicles equipped with blue police lights. But their most important weapon was information: the eight hooded gangsters who on Monday evening seized diamonds worth tens of millions of dollars from a passenger plane preparing to depart for Switzerland knew exactly when to strike — just 18 minutes before takeoff.
Forcing their way through the airport’s perimeter fence, the thieves raced, police lights flashing, to Flight LX789, which had just been loaded with diamonds from a Brink’s armored van from Antwerp, Belgium, and was getting ready for an 8:05 p.m. departure for Zurich.

That would almost be amusing to see happen.

A third of the seafood sold nationwide and almost 40 percent of the fish purchased by consumers in Northern California was not what it was touted to be, a study released Thursday by the nonprofit group Oceana revealed.
Genetic testing of 1,215 fish taken from 674 retail outlets, grocery stores and sushi bars throughout the United States between 2010 and 2012 found that 33 percent of the samples had been mislabeled, according to U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines.
Researchers with Oceana, a group dedicated to preserving the ocean ecosystem, reported finding seafood mislabeling in all 21 states where they tested, including retail outlets in San Francisco, Monterey, Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland.
In Northern California, 38 percent of the fish tested was something other than advertised. Fish labeled snapper turned out to be rockfish 34 times at sites in the Bay Area, Monterey and other sites in Northern California, according to the watchdog group, which did not reveal the locations of the specific venues where seafood fraud was found.

the easist way to combat fish fraud is to shop at Chinese stores. They will kill the fish in front of your so you know exactly what you are buying.

in Chinese restaurant, unless specified, they include the head.

Wait ten years, your fish will be created using 3D printers and the real question, is this piece of meat in the form of a fish using top quality designs?

Indeed, quality food is made of quality ingredients (like omega 3). What good for your health is to eat a piece of meat that has the appearance and taste of fish but in truth has the same components of red meat? That is why patenting genes (made by nature after millions of years) is evil!!! >_< <-- said 10 years early

FTFY, as they say.

3D printing transforms the ownership of physical objects from the patent object itself to the copyrighted plans to make the item. It's a really profound regulatory change that has yet to become widely acknowleged.

I'm waiting for object plans that use the General Public License. How about an alarm clock, for instance? Couldn't you "print" all the components required to make a clock? Perhaps the mainspring would be hard?

As for fish, I expect them to be farmed and improved via breeding techniques and DNA analysis. Wild ocean fish will become an ever more expensive delicacy.
