Lots of "maybe, try it and see" this season for me, with the only guaranteed watch items being continuations.
Definitely watch: Jormungand 2, Hiiro ni Kakera 2, and the continuation of Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse (ever notice how ongoing 2-cour+ series never show up on these charts although split-season ones like Jormungand do? Very annoying.). Give it a shot: PSYCHO-PASS, ROBOTICS;NOTES, Little Busters!, Magi, Kamisama Kiss, Code: Breaker

My watchlist, or rather, try-list:
Shinsekai yori - should be OK at the very least... Kamisama hajimemashita - as long as it doesn't take itself too seriously. Something sweet and cute like Otome youkai Zakuro would be nice. Tonari no kaibutsu-kun - if it doesn't turn out to be a harem/ecchi comedy... ETA: now that I've taken a closer look I'm happy that it's not the harem/ecchi comedy type. Now I just hope Haru is as precious as they say so I won't feel too sorry for the other guy who inevitably becomes his rival... K - seems like a nice piece of eye and ear candy Zetsuen no tempest - duh, Bones. Also apparently this is this season's main "BL bait" so at least I can count on pixiv residents providing the fanworks. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - AWW YEAH. Litchi de Hikari Club - I still can't believe this got an anime. Ixion saga - this looks way too fabulous to pass up. Suki tte ii na yo - I'm always a bit wary of shoujo school romances so I hope I won't find the characters annoying and predictable... Magi - people are saying the manga is good so I guess it's worth a shot? Psycho-Pass - As long as it doesn't take itself too seriously. Last edited by kuromitsu; 2012-09-23 at 16:56. |

Unlike Summer, there isn't really any show that really grabs my attention immediately this time around... Though if I have to pick, with no real reason except for my own gut feelings... I'm betting on Sakurasou and Kamisama and Onii-Ai Also, this season's shows are more evenly spread out.
A whooping 16 shows this time around...Who knows how many would remain after the 3 months? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Monday (2 shows) ====== 1) Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse - Carry over from the previous season. 2) Magi - Probation with mild anticipation. Tuesday (3 shows) ======= 1) Sakurasou no Pet no Kanojo - High anticipation, following my gut here and betting big on this JC Staff production. 2) Kamisama Hajimemashita - Mild to high anticipation, the promo looks cute, maybe this would break the string of recent bad shoujos. 3) Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun - Optimistically intrigue, the promo looks hilarious with a dash of cute romance. Wednesday (1 show) ========= 1) Jormungand 2: Perfect Order - Well, one should try to finish what they've started right? But I can't shake this bad feeling... Thursday (2 shows) ======== 1) Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai - What could possibly go wrong? 2) Hayate no Gotoku! Can’t Take My Eyes Off You - Morbid curiosity, low anticipation. Friday (2 shows) ====== 1) Zetsuen no Tempest: The Civilization Blaster - Could be something... Could be nothing... Optimistic. 2) K - Could be something... Could be nothing... Extremely cautious. Saturday (1 show) ======== 1) Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankei Nai yo ne - High anticipation, Silver Link hasn't let me down yet. Sunday (5 shows) ====== 1) Little Busters! - Just to see the rage. 2) Seitokai no Ichizon S2 - This should have been one of my most anticipated shows, but my warning bells are ringing... 3) Sword Art Online - Carry on from previous season. 4) Sukitte Ii na yo - Mildly cautious, not sure what to expect. 5) CODE:BREAKER - Could possibly be the next Ao no Exorcist, but we'll see.

Not anything in particular. As long as they have strong, cool, and badass dude as the protagonist, then i'll make them my watchlist.
1. Onii-ai - brocon and incest part turns me on 2. K - just looking at the promotion poster has already piqued my interest 3. Code Breaker - The "true" badass MC in this season, definitely a must watch 4. Chuunibyo - Not really interested but meh, as long as they have dude who can manage his harem pretty well, then it's alright. 5. Psycho Pass - full of cool guys doing cool things, and i'm a big fan of Hitman Reborn. Must watch! |

Shin Seaki Yori- Good plot from the looks of it but I can only hope the animation can match it.
Jormungand S2- I didn't finish S1 but it was ever tempting to keep watching the gun action. You got my vote to watch season 2. Chuuninbyou- for obvious reasons. :3 K- A random anime that seems to have some FMA vibes about it. Giving it an attempt though. Onii-chan Dakedo- Twinces-lolno, *cough* Yosuga no sora*cough* I'm doing it for the story. Sakurasou no Pet- I can't help but think I won't like it but I like some light novel adaptation. Magi- ... Robotic Notes- Good reviews from the media Psycho Pass- Overrated but I'll give it a shot anyway. Setokai no Ichizon- I didn't finish laughing after S1. |

Out of new shows, I only expect positive things from the following:
K. I expect it to be generic, full of anime cliches, and lots of /facepalm moments. But, I also expect it to be beautiful, filled with voice actors I venerate. At the very least, I expect this to be something I can vapidly enjoy every week, and if the content within surprises me in some way, I may even be able to enjoy this without a vapid smile. Psycho Pass. Urobachi Gen. Anymore really need to be said? Sure, Production I.G. is behind it, and what was once a studio I held up on a pedestal above all others has had an incredibly poor history of shows in recent years (I'm not sure if I can ever forgive them for Guilty Crown), but...Urobachi Gen. The show I would have high hopes for if I wasn't a burn out cynic that thinks the Bones of old is buried, burned, and gone: Zetsuen No Tempest. Even more so than Production I.G, Bones has taken my fanboy heart and stomped on it like a hysterical five year old over the past few years. Despite it all, there's still that little voice within that makes me want to have hope for this new Bones show. I begin to understand why some women keep going back to abusive boyfriends. Out of the shows that are returning, I expect good things from: Jormungand. Violence and humor is always a good thing. I'll almost certainly watch the first episode of 90% of the shows that are airing, and there's is almost a certainty that a few of shows I haven't mentioned will become weekly regulars on my view list. But, I have zero expectations for them (well, at least positive ones).

Posting this before I start anything today.
Will watch: Little Busters! My most anticipated show this year. I'm a huge fan of Key, I've had a lot of hope for Little Busters! getting an adaptation, and now it finally will. Even though I haven't posted much in its forum, I'm extremely excited for this and believe that J.C. Staff will do an amazing job on the anime. Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! Kyoto Animation has animated some of my most favorite series, and this one looks like a promising & fun show. Shin Sekai Yori Great visual style, interesting story. BTOOOM! The manga's awesome, so I hope the anime will be a great adaptation of it. Magi I wasn't originally planning on watching this at first, but there's a lot of staff members and seiyuu involved with this who have worked on some of my favorite anime. Robotics;Notes I'm looking forward to this next adaptation of the science adventure series very much. Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankei Nai yo ne— Keiichiro Kawaguchi directing, Silver Link being the animation studio, and Minori Chihara have me interested in watching this one. Psycho-pass Looks absolutely fantastic. It's futuristic setting is something I enjoy, in addition to Gen Urobuchi being involved. Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo I'm a fan of the cast and Mari Okada, plus it looks to be a really good romantic comedy. Seitokai no Ichizon season 2 Loved the first season, I'll see this for sure. Hayate no Gotoku! Can't Take My Eyes Off You I've enjoyed the previous Hayate no Gotoku series, I will watch this one as well. Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb More fun with more Hidamari Sketch. Zetsuen no Tempest Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun Medaka Box Abnormal Busou Shinki K Kamisama Hajimemashita Suki-tte Ii na yo. Code:Breaker Girls und Panzer To Love-Ru Trouble: Darkness Might watch: Haitai Nanafa Teekyuu
