Dude, I guessed that "Charles" was a reverse-trap pretty much as soon as I saw the next episode preview for the episode that "he" was introduced in. So I hope you'll forgive me if I consider that a pretty pathetic thing to say that you were "spoiled" for.

Then again, there was apparently at least one person who didn't figure things out until the reveal. Somehow.

Spoiled what? We didn't do anything worse than the New Type polls, and definitely nothing close to some of the more suggestive materials posted by Westlo in this thread.

I don't know, since I haven't seen Infinite Stratos, but now I know that some character or other is actually a girl, and this is meant to be a surprise.

I try to treat this thread carefully, since people seem to want to talk about other series in it, without spoiler tags, but sometimes you see more than you want to.

Still, it's nothing compared to two years ago, when people in the Macross forum here were spoiling Eva 2.0. I'm STILL kinda pissed about that.

And Westlo, I generally ignore.

By every means though, I don't think the series itself even try to hide the fact that Char is a girl I mean, when the VAs were announced... HanaKana voicing a boy... Really? Am I supposed to believe that pretty boy is not gonna be a reverse trap?

And everyone who watched her intro episode is not even fooled, btw...

(Let's not mention the fact that if you were looking at the cover of the novels accidentally or not, you DEFINITELY can see Char's gender, natch)

Anyway, going back to topic, I think Sheryl has grown on me. No kidding, I've come to like her very much, not just because she's practically a bombshell, but as the show progresses, her character grows a few more dimensions. Of all the characters, if she ever falls because of circumstances surrounding her, Sheryl's would be the hardest because of her high standing in the social ladder, thus becoming vulnerable. This is where the true strength of her character is tried.
