Yuki's playing a Gibson Goddess (I think), which is essentially a feminized SG. The Epiphone G-400 runs about $400 US, so that's probably your best route. It's a great guitar for the money.

So can someone clarify for me what the piano song that plays during the a.f.k. "credits" at the end of episode 14 is?

It's called 'Koisuru Kimochi' and it's from the first Ah! My Goddess OST.

Anyone have an idea of the street date for the background OST music? It's just I'm looking for that song from the Yuki/Ryoko fight... actually come to think of it, I really like all the bgm, but that one's definitly one of my favorites...

I feel like a broken record, but... the OST comes with the Limited Edition Japanese DVDs only, and no seperate OST release has been announced.

Have fun trying to order the first two DVDs. It's gonna be helleva hard since they've been sold out at the majority of online retailers for awhile.

The first DVD (the Mikuru one) is currently going on Amazon for 10,000 Yen-ish, so good luck if you want that one. The CD for that has all the tracks from that episode.

Volume 1, which has the first two episode, includes some of the music from the main series, and is still available! YesAsia still has a reasonable stock here. Amazon Japan and CDJapan are both sold out.

I've played it extensively (one of my jam buddies had one), and it changed my opinion of Epiphone forever. It sounds and plays great. Like any guitar , there are lemons and jewels, so be selective and shop around to find a good one.
Alternatively, you can pay $900 US for the Epiphone Elitist SG if you decide the G-400 is really just unacceptable.

Does anyone know why both Mikuru and Haruhi are holding lemons in their hands?

I'd love to know that too... Asakura on the third DVD is also, yep, holding a lemon. Maybe it's an in-joke or something.
