Lol, a very enjoyable chapter. Really nice development from Miu and Kenichi. The peck on the cheek almost cost the boy his life had it not been for the other masters.

I felt real sorry for Takada since from personal experiance I know how he feels. Really interesting meeting place for the Shinpaku alliance during school.

Though I was a bit surprise to have read that Renka has been visiting the dojo while the masters were gone but we did not get to see that scenario play out.

Poor Kenichi, he needs to find Elder weakness or something. He'll need 1000+ chapters of training and a time skip in hope of scratching Elder at this point.

Also, a shonen manga showing how romantic development is suppose to go. It took 423 chapters, but we have development, I repeat, we have development!

You know, for a guy who is too polite towards women, i found Kenichi's attitude towards Renka funny. "Now that that hindrance... i mean my sparring partner of the past two days" lol.

damn Takeda was scary. He wa giving off such a killing aura at hearing that Kenichi and Miu were living alone together for seeral days. It was obvious he loved Miu but i think this is the first time he's really shown such jealousy over Kenichi and Miu. I'm really hoping they introduce a girl just for him soon. I just feel so bad for him knowing that his feelings are impossible.

I didn't really see any anger from Shigure. She was powered up holding the Elder back, like the other masters and her expression in the last panel is her normal bored expression. I wouldn't mind some signs of jealousy, but I didn't see any myself.

From the looks of it, I think she did kiss his cheek only to have the elder set off after witnessing the action.

As for the upcoming battle, I really do hope that there is a weapon's master from YOMI that can actually be seen as a threat. So far, the unarmed Masters have given Kenichi's masters more of a battle than the majority of the armed divisions.

Lol. Well, if we are going to go by that logic, then Kenichi has hit second base with Rachel Stanly was well. Not only that, but she gave him a kiss on the cheek for it as well (Chapter 269).

It has been so long that I kinda forgot Kenichi liked Miu.

The final boss in Kenichi's journey is not the leader of Yomi nor Miu's father. It's the elder. Which by no means makes things easier for him.

NoLongerSane Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Texas	Finished reading 424. A Chikage-centric chapter to say the least. Spoiler for Chapter 424: Very interesting chapter staring Chikage. We get to see what she does and that she was ordered to learn what life is like in school. Really enjoyed her little conversation with Kenichi on plants. We also got to see some minor characters of the past makes an appearnce in this chapter. It looks like Miu is under watch from the elder and that she and Kenichi must meet now in private when they are together. Lol at Chikage when she was spying on the two only to be joined in by Renka and Rachel. Rachel makes an interesting point about the school being a gathering place for very strong martial arts. Really enjoyed how Chikage vows not to let her heart be soiled only to fall moments later when sweets are involved.
