Good lord... man, I just finished my anatomy courses 3 months ago and thought nothing could disturb me. I was wrong. Dude, it looked like straight out of a prosection lab (instructor goes over the lab's dissection agenda) with an ultra fresh cadaver.

Damn... almost lost my dinner.

Um, the point is for the scar to heal in the shape of the cut...

Spoiler for here is a picture of a healed one:

Anyways, it's not nice for you to call these people sick, etc.
It's not like they are hurting you by doing it. leave them alone.
That actually doesnt look all that bad, but I still dont like the style. You could get that exact same flower in a light pink or whatever as a tattoo. Its less painful, more safe, and if it starts to fade its easy to have it touched up unlike the scar.

Regular ink tats are the way to go. No if ands or buts IMO

Well I have seen bloodier situation but...

boy does he looks like he is in *gasp* pain

Anyway they can do whatever they want to their body unless 1. do it in public and 2. try to force it onto other harmless fools.

Well sure it's gross and disgusting and bloody, after seeing that footage of a swollen red tumor being rmoved from an old mans chin, I can't be phased as easily. Tumors creep me out, not blood. :quivers at the thought of tumors:

The man's trying to make a 3rd dimensional tattoo (even if it isn't a tattoo.) It's kinda cool, but it looks as painful as hell. Not worth it to look awesome if you have to go through wooziness due to loss of bood and the blinding pain that lingers, even with anestetic.

This's why some people shoulden't have children, I really don't see the subject being a useful member of society. Dang, that's alot of blood.

Those pictures wern't *that* horrible to look at, what makes images similar to that unbearable is when you have foreign objects mixed in, like shrapnel and dirt.

It's still something i'd rather not see.

OMFG!!!
Tattoos are one thing, but that's utterly ridiculous.
There are better ways to commeorate someone's birthday at any age, that don't involve completely mutilating yourself.
Seriously.....God......

Hum. When you do, please remember, the photo thread is your friend

My views on this were pretty much the same as Lady Yanami's.

The dude has a history of doing really dumb things to his body ... like getting 3 pointless bars surgically placed into his arm in celebration of his daughter's birthday. Cool? or something a degenerate would do?

I recall few years ago I saw a guy in TV taking that kind of a scar tattoon. It's not something I'm happy to remember. Freaking bloody and you still have to open it regularly for a while to make it stay. Body alternation is even more sick, like ripping your finger open or splitting your penis. Really disturbing.

What a deadset tosser by the way. God gave him two arms to do something useful in life and he goes and does this.

Fair crack of the whip.

There is only one phrase that describes this person...

Dumbass!

I'm sure his daughter will really appreciate the gift of him removing skin from arm for her birthday. All in all, I'd say she'd probably rather a toy or stuffed animal over the distinct privilage of being able to say "My daddy mutilated his body to show me how much he loves me."

It wasn't supposed to be for her birthday occasion, but now I wish it did.....

If it were to happen around birth it would be considered completly normal for her dad to have that in her opinion, but now since she's one year old she's going to maybe have at least one memory before he did this to his arm.

At least he didn't plan to do this to his legs....

Hehehe.....reminds me of a story that a friend of mine told me, he's a mortician.

I do like the pics of his facial expressions b/c he sure as hell looked like he was either crying or on the verge of it. Hey wait...why we're all looking at this as a bad thing why not hope that he has more kids? Maybe if he has enough, he'll eventually end up losing enough blood that he'll die from that, or maybe due to the fact that he's lost alot of skin (protection) he'll end up catching something, or just that the person doing the op screws up!!! Of course I'd feel bad for the kid and all....

On a serious note: I guess that we can't say much considering the forum it came from. That's a forum for tattoos, brandings, masochism, and other things if you're willing to look for them. We focus on anime, games, manga, art, and computers w/ the occassional sex topic. His form of expression, his choice, but that's going to be a fun time going through security checks....

Well, I mean this is, of course, disturbing, but considering the type of guy this comes from, I really don't see what's so surprising about it. You have to expect these kind of things if you get a minimum interested in body modification.
Beside, have any of you followed teh links to his inserts and "stretching" picutre. I find the stretching stuff, so much more disturbing...... These guys must really dig pain, or I just don't understanf it. Their life, their body, but sure, I agree with you it doesn't bode wel for the future of his daughter (especially as he doesn't seem to be to old either)
.
