Senhime vs Yukimura was only the main protracted battled, but Hanzo joined the fray for one episode, and then there was always Juubei banned by everyone from kissing him, as well as Gisen trolling everyone for those lips

I don't remember though how things worked out with Kanetsugu and my personal favorite Matabei, my focus on the story was seriously compromised by their presence

That was the sad part for me, Naoe and Matabei didn't get a chance, the story didn't have room for them, so it's not that you don't remember what happened to them, they just didn't have a chance

But with a second season, new opportunities awaken! And.... hopefully more misunderstandings in the bath

They're probably wanting the fans to go crazy in waiting then surprised us that the date was change to a month earlier than scheduled.. It's a strategy I guess..

Technically begins with the equinox (end of March), and for what concerns anime calendars it's a little later (first 10 days of April).

Looks like this coming spring season will be a great one.

Also some pretty big and well known names will be joining the cast, even more of a good reason to look forward to it.

I haven't read much of the Light Novel, well there is only the prologue and 2/5 of chapter 1 translated. I saw the first season of the anime, but I am guessing it took a different route than the Light Novel. Anyone care to explain or provide any background, not too much as to spoil but in general what was different from the Light Novel? Gisen looks like she is coming back and base off images from AdamEndless9, there is a new samurai girl added, the one with pink hair.
