Positions: Translator(s) [Japanese to English], Feel free to Enquire about other Positions as well. Project: Please enquire about Project Titles in person. Either one of 2 old/current projects or a new one Chosen D|S, High, and the NEW Translator(s). IRC Channel: #Miyuki on irc.rizon.net IRC Nick: D|SASTER , HIGHWAY99 MSN: d_i_s_a_s_t_e_r@homail.com Email: d_i_s_a_s_t_e_r@homail.com Website: http://www.miyuki-elite.com/ A bunch of old timers trying out differrent jobs and working with a bit of new blood. Many of us with years of experience in many areas of the fansubbing comunity. Some of us are into Light-Hearted stuff, like myself, and others are into scary stuff with blood, action, and goth-like stuff... guess i'd fall in that category too. So whatever happens to be the translators' taste should be just fine. With new, and better looking, stuff coming up in September and October now, we hope to get back on track, straighten some stuff out and get to releasing something soon, once we find a stable Translator. So any Translators out there, feel free to come by the channel on IRC, or drop us a line on MSN or email. Or even, leave me a PM here on the forum. Thanks all, and peace out! |

Almost everyone is asking for translators, but they must constitute only about 5% of the anime-fan universe, and only 0,01% of those 5% want to translate old anime series...
I hope they all get their translators. I probably won't get any... :\ I guess I might start learning japanese... if I had the time. I just felt posting this.

Group: Naisho-Fansubs
Positions: Typesetter Project: Gakuen Alice IRC Channel: #naisho-fansubs @ irc.enterthegame.com IRC Nick: Dragosmore Email: Dragosmore@gmail.com Website: http://www.naisho-fansubs.net/ There is eternal bitching about Gakuen Alice 16. Want to know the problem? Fixing missing onscreens that should be typesetted or putting in typesetting for onscreens that weren't at all. Everything else should have been applied by now. We don't have problems with translation, editing, timing or encoding for the most part. Our biggest problem is the typesetting of signs in the episodes. So, if you want to see more GA anytime soon (since 16 is really knocking at your doorstep pretty much), contact me. All new typesetters or people willing to learn typesetting will be declined, because we don't have the time to teach or deal with the learning process. Experience is preferred. AFX isn't a must, but it would help a good deal. |
