I personally like spoiler 1. Kishimoto had currently reduced Akatsuki to joke status which now put the status of Itachi and AL (supposingly the 2 ultimate ninjas in jeopardy).

What happened to the days when you have Deidara who took on the entire village of sand by himself half prepared and under huge restrictions (he was forbidden to kill Gaara yet Gaara and co. could go all out on him) and not only win; but turned around and deal with stuff like the MS and a kyuufied Naruto. Although Sasori death was plot driven, he went down fighting. If he wanted to live, he would had crushed chiyo and sakura.

Now, we have people who have more experience (and probably battles) than the 4th, 3rd and the Sannin put together falling for tricks any chuunin won't have and people putting their cockery to the limits where they get crushed almost instantly. Asuma's death really isn't enough. Akatsuki right now needs to do something that shows without a shadow of a doubt that Orochimaru alone can't take them all out... at the same time.

Well I don't think Kakuzu has more experience and battles than all of them. It's safe to say if he did, Kakuzu would be much more known and Kakashi would've known about him. Also, we have no evidence if he fought in the Ninja Wars, while we know the 4th, the 3rd, and all the Sannin participated, and became legends, in those wars. Fighting in the Ninja Wars would give any ninja more than enough experience.

having too much experience can be bad. it can lead to complex thinking and underestimating the opponent. i think the reason kakuzu lost to naruto is he think too much but at last he has been tricked by a simple trick, so thats the disadvantages of having too much experience, hehe

past experience also will influence the behaviour of kakuzu, he might have guessed the trick too early because he think this is childplay, by doing so his perspective is blocked and he didnt the trick naruto pulled.

by the way, this is the longest post i'd write but it seems this cannot match the heavyweight in this forum, hehe

sometimes its scary to see the essays from them!!

but its enjoyable to read though...

Apparently the shinobi that Sasuke defeated from before were more than 100. Moans can be heard from them. Orochimaru tells Sasuke that if he can't be heartless, then he can't beat Itachi. Sasuke stands up and says that once he comes face to face with Itachi, he'll show him no mercy. Sasuke shealths his sword, put sit back and stares at Orochimaru. Orochimaru stares at Sasuke and marvels over his skills/genius and thinks that soon, Sasuke's going to be his. The scene sort of zooms out if I got it correctly. The group of shinobi Sasuke defeated is revealed to be more than a thousand!

Scene changes. Naruto, Sai & Sakura eats ramen. Naruto has trouble with eating with his left hand - his right one is heavily bandaged. Sakura says that while his new jutsu is great, it severly damages the body too. Naruto says that it's cool as he'll just heal soon. He then says that he's happy like this and that soon they'll be able to go after Sasuke again, together. Sakura answers yes, and then feeds Naruto, if I get it correctly. Kakashi appears. They're surpised that he isn't in hospital, and he says that he is too. He also adds that he thinks that the reason is that he didn't have to use the Mangekyo Sharingan this time, so this time, he escaped the sick bed. He then tells Naruto that he has done something incredible, that he is now equal to or have surpassed him, but that he should still be wary of the risk of the jutsu Naruto answers "yeah".

Scene changes to Orochimaru's headquarter. Orochimaru lies in bed, coughing. Kabuto says that it's useless to go any further. The body won't be able to take more of the drugs/medicine. He tells Orochimaru to waits a little, then leaves the room. Orochimaru laughs madly. Both his arms, if I read it correctly, are covered in some sort of banages with seals on. A chakra blade apparently flashes through the room, aimed at Orochimaru. Orochimaru stops it by the crossguard. He says "This chakra nature is... But I haven't seen it like this before". He asks who it is. Sasuke enters the room. Orochimaru says "I see.. I thought so". Sasuke says that Orochimaru can no longer teach him anything and that he won't show any mercy before Orochimaru. He activates his Sharingan. there's also something about the end about a seal bandage falling from a face (I think). Perhaps Orochimaru is wearing a headbandage similar to Kimimaro's when he was shown in sickbed? Chapter ends.

Sasuke will be paralyzed to which Kabuto will knock him out, so a body transfer can begin. I guess its up to the others to save Sasuke if that happens.

Mr. Johnny 5 Konoha's ANBU Join Date: Dec 2005 Age: 38	Spoiler for predictions after that chapter: Sasuke is obviously gonna lose...and run away before/after Oro switches body...(Oro aint never gonna die till Naruto, Akatsuki or the Sannin kill him) Kabuto obviously will play a vital role in defending and keeping Oro alive. Or ofcourse teaming up with Sasuke... I dont think he is gonna take Kabuto's body...because he is still too valuable for Orochimaru or to suddenly kill off. I think this will proof Kabuto's loyalties once and for all...and even if both attack him...Oro will live on.... __________________

Maybe he wants Sasuke's body as well for whatever reason. Hah... imagine that once transfered, Sasuke's body loses the sharingan >> cursed blood as kyuubi said.

rman0099 On my nut Join Date: Aug 2004	Spoiler: I wouldn't count out oro yet. He was able to block Sasuke's attack and said "just as i thought." He's probably been planning this for quite awhile. It may not be coincidental that Kabuto leaves just before Sasuke's attack. Kabuto's part in all of this still isn't through. Regardless, this was inevitable. Sasuke's perennial line is "I won't gain strength by Itachi's methods" so why would he use Oro's to kill Itachi. Sasuke is probably testing himself and planning to go lone wolf again Itachi. If he can't defeat Oro then he can't kill Itachi. And I say defeat because he probably won't kill Oro. This was apparent in this chapter when he didn't kill the thousands of shinobi because "they are not who I want to kill." It will just be interesting to see if Sasuke has obtained MS. It is evident you can gain it without killing your best friend. Look at Kakashi. He obtained it YEARS after Obito's death, who he never actually killed. So the next chapters should be interesting. Will he kill Oro or leave him to die soon? Will Oro steal his body? Does Sasuke have MS?
