Yeah, in its own right, the new track becomes a pretty awesome battle song. I'd like to hear the whole thing.

Not much of Gohan fighting the Cell Jrs. was cut, but it was great to see some of those scenes again with the new music.

Next episode's cut is going to be a real treat. Cell throws out every dirty trick in the book and Gohan punches his lights out several times.

When you think about it, Son Gohan's fight with Cell in the orginal manga was spectacularly short. He hits the creature only a grand total of seven times in his entire battle with it:

1) A kick to the face

then he turns Super Saiyajin 2....

2) A punch in the stomach.
3) An uppercut to the jaw.
4) A kick on the back of the neck
5) A massive Kamehameha
6) A kick in the face (which inexplicably causes him to vomit 18 in spite of the face not being connected to the digestive system )
7) A vaporizing Kamehameha.

Fierce, yes. But in terms of spectacular Gohan's fights with Freeza are much more intense.

No, I'm wagering it ends with Cell reverting to stage 2, which would set up 95 nicely for Goku's final shunkan ido.

Honestly, there's too much footage to end this at 96. If they're going to do Trunks' story like they need to, this arc is ending at the very least 97.

At least the anime changed this to make more sense. He does a flying kick right into his solar plexus after said kick to the face that causes A18 to be regurgitated.

Funnily enough, when Goku got rid of Cell's head and upper torso, there was no sign of #18!

...Seriously though, I think the impact of Gohan's blow just caused Cell's body to undo the process of absorbing #18 and thus her original form was recreated as she left his body. It's the only possible explanation.

Actually, there was an H-Doujin I saw that basically implied Cell kept her intact to tentacle rape her to produce the Cell Jrs during the 10-day wait period he gave the Z-Warriors.

Makes as much sense as anything else.

When H-Doujins start to make more sense than the actual source material, things have gone terribly wrong.

A good start though to the Gohan and Cell fight. Took care of the Cell Juniors and now getting warmed up against Cell. A powered up Gohan is a fun thing to watch.

Besides massive studying do wonder how a smart kid like Gohan came from parents like that. Chichi doesn't seem to follow that you need the planet to exist for Gohan to go to school and Goku is a bit too smug considering his plan nearly got them all killed. Still things managing to work out.

Cell jr explosions sound vaguely similar to sentai explosions no?

And that 'teleport' sound seems to be used in every anime they do o_O.

Unless i counted wrong; I counted 7 Cell Junior explosions

That was a convenient way to censor what really happened in the manga:

The sheer impact of the furious boy's blow made the little monster's head exploded in a mist of eye, chitin, flesh, mucous, bone and brain-jelly, leaving a headless (and lifeless) corpse falling in the first panel of the next page and twitching like a cockroach hit by a slipper on the second.

And that Hentai Doujinshi really made sense: I was wondering how Cell, being nominally "male", was able to get the female "parts" necessary to produce children.
