Claymore Chapter 107

It's not true that Yagi kills someone only when they have completed their role,there was A LOT more that both Isley or Riful could have done (and infact there was not a single person that really thought that Isley could dieso soon),but even if we accept that view,there would be nothing strange for Miria to die now,afterall her very death could be Miria's final role in the story.
At the moment the only big enemy (more or less) in the story is Prissy,so if Yagi wants to introduce a new charismatic enemy for the ghosts,it's not enough to create a super-strong monster,Yagi needs to focus a lot of emotions on this new "evil",and for this purpose there would be nothing better than Miria's death,probably.

miria is an half awakened so she has options other claymores have not. She can go over her limit and heal cuts who are deadly otherwise. Miria is probably still able to fight and will be able to show them what her new yoki based mirage is made off. I am not an miria fan, she is a good character but clare is my all time favourite. Despite i am quite sure that miria
is not that easy to kill.

Doesn't matter. Miria is owned and it's still possible they managed to slash her because she was hallucinating .

She's either saying her last words, reminiscing of her friends ("I'll be joining you soon" or sth similar) or she's confident she can still win. Personally I bet on first option.

Expecteth Miria to surpasseth her most admirable limiteths. Witheth luck, she shall encounter no zombieth claymore.

Phew, I'm just glad the zombie claymores was not true. That's a huge relief, although I hate to see my goddess being slashed up and yet still hallucinating. Perhaps Miria and Raki will wind up fighting their own friends while being controlled by illusions. It would certainly make for sad but terrific drama of having a delusional Raki/Miria attacking their own comrades.

That really really changes how claymore will turn out. I mean, I have no idea what the ghosts can do without Miria. I also think this cuts the chances of a mainland arc dramatically.

At least I have the satisfaction that I can see from the left side of the pic that this is the panel before. So now that Miria has seen the trick and they failed to kill her she can release her yoki and go psycho on there asses for using such a cheap trick to harm her. I mean even though in war stuff like this is a legit way to gain victory it and I approve it, it is clearly meant to make the reader feel like it's a cheap and dirty tactic.

Ah rats. I was hoping she'd have a greater role in the plot than just providing motivation. What a terrible shame. It seems Yagi is opting for sticking to his original storyline length of 25 volumes. Tis a shame...I was hoping for a more developed plot of the anti-Organization war.

if miria doesn't die, she may break her limit and heal herself, i wonder if galatea will show up in time and interfere the mind-controlling thing, that might save miria from the twins and stuff, i hope this will come true... and i also want to see galatea take some actions

Holy crap that was absolutely brutal. Pretty damn grim on Yagi's part. Damn, I am going to be thinking of this chapter all through class. That man really knows how to crush a character. I was not a huge Miria fan, but this...

Spoiler for Miria:

Miria basically becomes completely delusional under this illusion and a Shrimp Twin sticks a sword in her. That however isn't nearly enough to kill Miria, and so the chapter moves on. At the end she's crying in happiness at seeing Hilda and her wounded claymore opponents are getting up. Then, with a final horrific end, Miria is cut down by 3 claymores at once, with limbs, blood and guts splaying in all directions.

Yagi gave her about the most horrific and least-deserved end of any character I've seen. It was just distressing to even look at. I thought she deserved a lot better end than such an anti-climatic death. There's an image Gooral found where as she dies her severed hand flies free...

the only thing I find satisfying about this is what the end points to: this has REEEEEEEVEEENGE written all over it. I can see Tabitha for one KILLING claymores once she learns how miria died from galatea. RLY ...she left them alive and they disect her as a thx for that. may they all burn in hell -.-

Unless you have more spoilers pics, you can't see anything like. As a matter of fact, on the lower left panel of the first spoiler pic, her head is intact.
