I can't watch the PV (damn region lock) but from the teaser all seems pretty great so far. Last edited by kuromitsu; 2016-09-05 at 07:15. Reason: oops, job creeping into the forum |

Episode 1:
Ah I loved the music they used for the show already. It has this smooth vibrant feel that connects with the lighthearted atmospheric setting. The episode introduced Rei, the main guy and there's even a small glimpse of his past. I think Shaft's style works for the show despite my initial impressions of it. The comedy and realism works fine so far, really liked the family feel of the show as well. Pretty good start, can't wait for more. There's also quite a bit of advertising of "Sangatsu" at places.

Loved every second of the show. From the melancholy coming from his adopted family that he 'abandoned', to the happiness you get from the way the sisters, with a pinch of comedy here and there, this was undoubtedly a stellar episode. Absolutely amazing that so much of the show didn't have anyone speaking, and yet they conveyed so much just from what was shown. Contrast that with slideshows that have a lot of talking, and it's quite a different approach.
I personally aren't a fan of Shinbou's works, but quite honestly, this pilot is the least in his style and still he pulls it off magnificently. Makes me wonder 'why?' I could have enjoyed more anime he has done. Regardless, anime of the season for me without a doubt!
