I'll be so pissed if they try the "we can change the future" routine. That's pretty clearly a misunderstanding of how Kirie's powers work.

It seems in the future, Fate has decided to use a more standard attack force as support. Fortunately, his magnetic power over young ladies remains intact

Anyway, this chapter was pure shounen goodness, with both great action and good comedy, and thankfully, continues the trend of Touta not being one of the most unlikable characters in recent manga history. If I remember correctly, Negi wasn't too fond of Fate's cockiness either, so good to see there's something of him in there, and really, fighting is where he excels, and this chapter was all that, in a good way.

Also, I love the satellite still says Chao Bao Zi on the side

Tsukuyomi, "Ala Alba", Fate's sword storm technique, this series really is bringing back alot of old memories. Did Tsukuyomi always have the last name Iwai, because I don't remember hearing it before?

Actually I think Amakatsu never mention her name at all beside her last name Tsukiyomi

Anyway... Negi seriously have making Fate become once of his harem now... Every sentence in the conversation between Fate and touta when 1v1 is always mention about Negi.

and Ala alba seem to be a big group that i think can now call an organization now... They got a whole class consist 33 students and 1 teacher, 1 wolf-boy, now another 3 not-mention-previously

Did Touta look surprised, as if he noticed something strange, in the panel after he was looking at the stone Kirie. He suddenly decided that fighting was the best option and Kirie was still trying after that for some reason.

The way Touta worded it, will they still try to go with Kirie's plan? Could she have prepared something beforehand that would unpetrify her after a certain amount of time? Something akin to what Yue does on ch 324 of Negima. Or could they just make he touch fate again and the break the head of her petrified form (which would likely count as dying)?

Let's see how it will go next chapter.

all that "restore point" is broken.. at least for now... if you get killed, you return to your checkpoint.... hell...that is a messy immortality, if at least the "next" future is identical to the past future,.. but no.. you can twist the future.....i suppose that there are people immune to this.. or that can remember the past-future....

... touta- mother complex, fate- negi complex..

there must be another reason to fate come to see touta, maybe to check his growth,

--- that is the good point about UQ Holder, is that the author can separates himself from normal shounen archetype, his audience are people how already read negima, and they have grown up so we got a more serious oriented series, ahh the bloody

Not if writing is at least half decent. Touta might knows how Kirie immortality works but not principles behind that, what's more He doesn't have clue how Fates petrification magic works. He never encountered it before. So unlike his past events when he showed good judgements, if he were able make acurate evalution it would be capital asspull.

Touta logic doesn't actualy have anything to do with Kirie this time around. He just realised that even if their plan failed they were able get past Fates defences which is occasion that might not repeat itself anytime soon if ever.
