Remember between episode 1 and 2, he said that some time passed? (1 week in the anime, I think. Months in the novel.)

Everything happened in that (presently offscreen) time.

I think it would've been nice if they at least made some mention of it beforehand; I was utterly confused when they had their phone conversation. I looked back at the episode listing on CR thinking I somehow skipped an episode.

Oh well, it's been a promising series so far (I really like Erica's "aggressive" behavior towards Godou. Although Erica is my sister's name so it feels really awkward every now and then

), so I'll overlook a minor inconsistency.

The second episode mentioned that Godou had fought with other Campione in the past. This is simply a callback to that, I see no problem.

Campione! 06 - There! Wolf!

That's two werewolves who devour attacks I've encountered this week. Not sure how this guy stacks up against Drake, as the rules of combat in their universes are entirely different, but the fights are getting a bit more varied. Lots of good stuff from Erica this week. I wonder what would happen if she and Godo used their rain of swords attacks together. As for Lily, I like seeing her get more spotlight. She looked like the usual morally ambiguous Eri Kitamura character, but I wouldn't be sure of that until I got more of her. It's clear she has a past with Yuri, that much I'm sure of. Wonder if that guy who wanted to challenge Godo will play a part in this battle.

Not a bad episode, pretty much what I expected, I noticed some little inconsisntencies about the animation but you gotta have to press pause with such precision you'll take a minute just for 1 second

. So yeah, saving budget for next week.

The anime is sooooo rushed, even the title of the next episode makes it more rusher (Wind,Rain,Wolf) -.-

Being rushed isn't a problem anymore after Ep1. There are other problems with writing and direction instead. And why "Wind, Rain, Wolf" is an indicator for the anime being rushed is beyond me, too.

Mariya's kidnapping was just bad.
Guess she was pretty important to that weird old geezer.
This time it's the god of death. That's always a bad thing.
Erica & Godou had some interesting opponents this time.
Playing a game with Duke Voban... a very risky thing.
Interesting episode and opponent.

man, Godou needs to plan ahead better.
If it wasn't for Erica stopping him, Godou would have have probably used up all his authorities by the end of the episode by blowing it all on trash mobs.

He used up two so far. Horse and whatever that Speed one is. Two of the seemingly more useful ones.

I think he could have ran away without using the Flash-power of running away.... Vodo was just standing there taking his time. He still has the whole night ahead, he probably enjoys chasing.

Curious what Salvatore's powers are. Hopefully we get a flashback to their fight or he shows up again so we can see what kind of stuff he has.

That's probably the intention. The meat of these chapters are the exposition and speculation of Voban's powers. Which means that even though it feels rush, the truth is not alot of actionable scenes happened anyway.

I haven't read the last chapter with the fight between Godou and Voban, but I have some idea which Wolf God Voban had killed... I could have swore I've heard before the myth of a Wolf that ate the Sun...

Of course there's a chance that like Athena, it's a combination of myths in which case I have no clue.

Episode 6 was so freaking rushed. But I guess it makes sense if they're adapting the light novels very poorly. I'm still a bit disappointed, though.
