I saw Persona from this week's episode.

Nice to know more about Uehara. I loved his amusing reaction after learning about how Aguri fell for him. Really hope they give each of the main cast some background storytelling like this week.

i really can't understand mc mind, what he really want??? just be a loner casual gamer????, because i really can't see why he is so adamantite toward enter the club specially the way he defended it, it's feel more like he made some sort of promise to someone, even if one of the clubs goals is be progamers and go tournaments this don't means which he is obligated to do, the club goal still play and enjoy games, i'm pretty sure none gonna force him into something he don't want, if he is another "cliche peniless looser mc, still don't make sense he refuse and even himself recoginze what he is doing is stupid and crazy, but for mysterious reason he keep doing, i really hope we can get proper adressed for what is happening with him to be like that.

I just realized, they just played the Counter Strike ish game in the first episode, they were using console game controllers instead of mouses and keyboards?
That one guy was really good at the first person shooting game with controllers?
How is that possible?

He use K+M while he playing alone. only use controller when play with his friend. Which make sense since it is local multiplayer

It's a steam machine with their steam controllers. Their meme game is strong.

Overwatch, Halo, and Call of Duty can all be played on controllers since they're on the PS or Xbox platform. There's not a reason you can't with csgo.

I think he didn't get that he can enjoy games in the club like usual, it just a glimpse of what is (to be hardcore games to win) and didn't like it, the fact that he defend it well it's obvious that being a loner without friends just the fact that tendou came to him personaly and invite him it's enough. Maybe tendou wants to adress the problem why he didn't join, but well it has to be more than that, and maybe it has to be with the girl at the end.

I'm glad that the couple won't get any problems, I thought that ikemen guy liked tendou and was dating gyaru girl just because and that would ended in gyaru girl falling for the protagonist and then ikemen guy was going to be the bullied the rest of the serie.

lol tendou falls easy, I'm looking fowar of jelousy and a lots of misunderstandings.

Oh, my God... that ending was the sweetest thing ever. They even fooled me when she said she liked him because he was awesome, but that follow up....

I liked the second episode much better. The first was too much cheap comedy for me, more like Aho-girl than Fastest Finger First, to compare with the competition. Episode two showed a lot more depth of character. Although it is still hard to figure out the main character, at least it now seems he is just a complex person, not completely random. And the insight into the other couple was pretty well done. They were a lot different from what I had expected.

Ok, that first episode was just a flub. I don't want to clutter myself with too much anime this season. I'm just gonna check one more episode and see its just a fad.

So yeah, this was a pretty damn good episode, and with more than one unexpected moment. I wasn't exactly sure what role Tasuku would play in all of this, but I'm very glad to see he's a bro, surprised the story got to this point so soon, and smiling at that last part with Aguri. And oh boy, Erika You still were kind of obnoxious last episode, so can't say I'm rooting for you just yet, but keep trying, something could change eventually.

I'm a bit bothered with how blatently Keita is being painted as the typical "super kind loser", but he's still an ok character, and there were too many good moments in this one to ignore. Guess I have something else to watch during the week now.

Indeed it was, though I kinda read it a few seconds before she actually said something, but still, really cute stuff (Credit to Aguri, of course, but Tasuku's reaction is what makes it). I was actually more surprised by what happened after the ED.

yeah i'm also feeling which something is missing and he is not just the peniless loser or at last hope is not just it on his behavious and it must have to do with the girl which he keep playing that smarthphone game.

i also hope this is not just another "harem shinegans" which every girl falling for mc and all others guys are asexued like a big ammount of anime, i really liked that couple and they background and i really feel bad for the couple, because they basically had to "change who they where" in order to achiev they desires, he loved games but had to give up on it because crap society/norms say which he must not enjoy it and the girl to make him notice and accept her have to change her look and maybe even personality, i feel she was much more "cute" with her black hair than this currently pink, i would really love to see her going back to her original look, honestly i really feel she was much more cute before than now.

another problem which i had with schools animes which also happen on that is that japanese obssession with "role model", where peoples are turning in queens/kings or princess/ prince at random, i can understand when someone work hard to be it the princess/prince of the school/ most popular but when someone which not asked and many times even didn't know who he is, before is even more annoying, this is the case of the main girl, she really looks like not someone which asked to be the "popular girl" and want to have her normal life but peoples put her on a place where she can't have what she want and must act sometimes against what she want and in some cases do things at hidden and in others the love is so idiot which even if the person is not "perfect" and even a weird pervert peoples will just ignore it and act like said person is a god on earth inncarnated to be followed, i really dislike that situations in anime.

The 'events' that have played out more or less the same way, but the information required to make some events justified/impactful hasn't been there

The key part (everyone's relationship status, relative to each other) is intact though, which I guess is the main part for progression

Lol thank god you recommended to watch it. I saw the first episode and I got soooo disappointed with the show because the LN for this show is actually extremely good, in the top 3 I've read, so I was very disappointed. But episode 2 was quite solid, it was really good. I was very satisfied. Yeah, I hope that the quality of the show continues to stay up, they focus less on random fanservice upskirt when tendo's going up the stairs, and that they stop doing what did in ep 1 where they spoiled random info which sorta turned me off a bit. I mean it wasn't that bad, just not very good. Glad to see episode 2 was great. Am looking forward to next week. Keeping my fingers crossed. Just that first ep prevents this from being a masterpiece, but now hoping this will be the next best thing.

Oh yeah, that opening made me really happy. That Smash and all that Dragon quest, so many references lol. I feel like that whole last part of the OP was referencing the golem PV trailer for Dragon Quest X and sorta ripped of that a lot lol.

Also, I like how the tags are harem + not harem + rom com

At most, Karen truly knows her club is getting praised, not being rejected because it is not a good club.
On top of that she fell in love, she saw all that situation where Tasuku being grabbed and almost fell off, though her eyes was only directed at the boy she fell in love with.

That was good fun . Tasuku is a pretty good guy and more likable than I expected from the first episode alone. A very cute scene late in the episode when he finally finds out why Aguri fell for him. A nice similarity in how they both ended up changing their appearances though for different reasons. Makes sense though that now there is a stronger impact on him.

And wow Amano came pretty close to murder there....Though it was good to see him get energized. Still hasn't joined that club and it would be fun if he doesn't for a good while. Especially seeing how utterly hard Karen has fallen for him. It's pretty darn hilarious seeing her like that. Yeah, I can see how her turning into a love struck stalker might impact her idol status going forward .

Goodness, episode 2 was really cute. I think this is going to be a fun series to watch.
