Now I've decided that a Gnome desktop should looks like a Gnome dektop... Oh well, it's just my inconsistencies for look&feel... The Rhythmbox's Desktop Art plugin is a nifty thing

While I still have no icons on my desktop, I've finally decided to use the space on my desktop for the little gadgets most people tend to have.

I like simplicity though, so I don't use many. I just need to find a way to completely remove the Taskbar... I wouldn't mind the default auto-hide if it didn't add that few pixel wide bar at the bottom.
