Probably Hiei for Yusuke. He fits as both a rival and a popular character. Hard to say for Ichigo... Byakuya? Renji?

For Kenshin, I'd assume either Sanosuke or Saito.

I hope it's not someone from Team Urameshi. Toguro would be a pretty logical choice if not Sensui. Heck, throw in Chu! just to hear Norio Wakamoto in this game

Well, Vegeta, Sasuke, and Zebra all rank as "rivals" moreso than "villains". Thus, I do not expect to see villains like Toguro. For One Piece, it'll likely be Zoro, since him, Vegeta, and Zebra met up together in the crossover OVA.

Speaking of that I wonder if Vegeta's galic gun blast killed Zorro and Zebra. Hell that was one major explosion and Vegeta was not yet SSJ there.

I think they will keep the DBZ characters on SS1 to be fair for the other characters. Ah! Gintoki you troll! I bet he'll be the top tier here.

Yeah, I think they're going to stick with the most prominent rivals or allies.

One piece - Zoro
Bleach - Ishida or Byakuya
Hunter x Hunter - Killua
Yuyu - Hiei
Gintama - Hijikata
Kenshin - Saito

Those are my predictions.

That's why I said rivals or allies (as in friends/comrades). Zoro isn't really Luffy's rival either. Hisoka's relationship with Gon is very special, but I'd say he's closer to a villain than a rival.

Thinking about it a bit more, they might choose Rukia for Bleach. It would be good to have a female character in this sausage fest.

But outside of shipping, I don't think Rukia is very popular in Japan whereas Renji and Byakuya are.

But the latter the given guys that will be included are Vegeta, Zoro, Zebra and Sasuke.
