Miya had an extremely powerful ability that she over-used out of guilt, and it killed her.

Maya had an even more extreme version of the experiment on Tats. All her experiences were converted into knowledge. For clarification, picking up a rock=experience, watching someone else pick up a rock=knowledge. This was done to all her memories.

He would lose. Seriously, the Yotsuba are f***ing hardcore. They destroyed an entire country because someone hurt one of their daughters. As strong as Tats is, he'd lose against all of them at once.

On a side note, it josses all theories that Maya was Tats actual mother, since she was rendered infertile by the torture.

I don't think we've seen all the skills of Tatsuya's powers. I think its more about Miyuki's situation. Maya is convince even if Tatsuya betrays the family, Miyuki will not follow him. Why is that is the question that we have no gotten an answer. What duty did Miyuki impose on herself to do so that would do such as thing? Maya already mentioned if she and Tatsuya fight, its his win.

Tatsuya as we know already is smart, if Maya states this. I believe Tatsuya already knows about it already. Miyuki is the key whether or not Tatsuya will fully go against the Yotsuba family. In a way Miyuki is the scapegoat, that is really the sad part in my opinion.

The duty Maya is forcing on Miyuki is she will be the next head of the family therefore she must do what is right for the well being of the family. As well as she becomes the family. so it's not not that Maya thinks Tatsuya will betray the family and Miyuki will not follow him. Its she has made it so he can't betray the will of the family(IE Miyuki's will) with out betraying Miyuki which has 0% possibility of happening.

After reading nightmare I starting to doubt alot of the information about the family that has been posted on this board as a lot of it seems to have been made from limited information from summaries and have turned out pretty much off the mark. Out of the nine family members and employees that have shown up through nightmare ( 2 butlers, 1 guardian, Maya, an uncle, 2 cousins, and their parents) only a butler has been shown to out right treat Tatsuya with disrespect. The Uncle treats him as a servant. His mother is a bit questionable as to how she sees him as we both don't have many details and her psyche is most likely damaged as well. We are told hes father sees him as only a tool but that is influenced strongly by biased POV and is lacking any details beyond his requests for the CAD and spell crafting prodigy to drop out of the clearly unneeded high school. The rest shown treat him as a member of the family.

The Yotsuba maybe monsters but they are both self made monsters and have lines they seem not to be willing to cross.

Think there is more to it than that. Base from what I read, there seems to be a bigger picture that haven't been expose to us readers. Obviously, what you mention is what I first thought by the time I read volume 2. Though I felt something is off, something is missing.

it was already said in LN that he don't percive eidos during his analysis with any of his 5 senses as well as there is no distance perception inside of dimension.(beisdes Idea like that was already pictured back in c8 of manga) so picture is not really accurate (not to mention empty given how many information bodies there is)... but i get the intent behind such decision ...

I was referring to the artist's depiction of it. Some people thought that he might do something from the Matrix.

The Yotsuba family's true attitude is shown in the past in which he is generally considered trash. There's less to work with in the current timeline because there has been minimal interaction. The uncle definitely showed disrespect though he didn't do it outright because the two cousins were there. Maya has treated Tats with disrespect in the past by barring him from even entering the main house. The reason he was granted access in the present timeline is because of his undeniable power. With that said, it doesn't mean Tats is treated with respect. If he was, he wouldn't be in his Guardian role (vs. say a candidate) as someone of the main bloodline. Even the father's attitude can be confirmed from Miyuki.

^ for that, i think even shiba's not regonaise him as mage, just tool or researcher or money maker... so i got assumsion, that tatsuya will son-in-law to his wive family if he even marry in future

The uncle holding back because his children are there? That doesn't hold water if these are the terrable peolpe that treat him as trash. I never remember reading she barred him from the house just not being invited to large scale family gatherings and in fact there are a few passages that he has been there recently, Maya has just avoided talking with him and he has been perfectly fine with that. He is a guardian because his magical capablity (remember his birth power is not true magic and they maybe trying to hide it) is too low to be a Yotsuba as Miyuki thought they were trying to give him a place in the family.

Oh yes Miyuki's so unbiased opinion of her father. We know she has a low opinion of her father durring the flashback (and seemingly feels he married Miya for her money and not becaus it was forced on him), and Tatsuya belives she is still harboring a grudge for remarring shortly after the death of their mother. And yet never goes into any details about this treatment as well as it clashing with Tatsuya's POV of himself just being a tool used for his powers and not wanted as a reseacher. Even though that is clearly not the case based on his step mothers thoughts. We don't have enough information as to just what is going on between them beyond their father wants him to quit shcool and work there full time and their stepmother feels him going to school is nothing more then him playing around (admitly he can out preform most trained engeneers already, so I see her point there) and the one time we do see him and his father interact he seemed to me that he was trying to be suportive and understanding but completely misread tatsuya's motivation

Wrong, the reveal was being the secrets that he keeps, like being Silver or being part of the military; right now everything that he does needs to be kept secret, so it's implied that later that might not be so.
