Light novel 'Adachi to Shimamura' will be receiving a TV anime adaptation.

Plot:

The second floor of the gym―this was where we always met. It was class time, but of course, there weren't any classes going on in a place like this.

This was where Shimamura and I became friends. We hung out here―talking about TV shows and cooking, playing some ping pong... This is where we fostered our friendship.

Keeping my head propped against the wall, I let out a small sigh.

What was this feeling? Yesterday, I'd dreamt of me and Shimamura kissing.

Not that I'm like that. I'm sure Shimamura isn’t either. It’s not even something worth repeating myself about, but really, it’s not like that.

It's just that when she hears the word "friend," I want her to think of me first. That's all.

The first episode was a bit too verbose and not gay enough. Looks like next week will turn on the gay though. For all that talking, we didn't learn that much about the two main characters.

I heard it was going to be a slow burn but I sort of get the impression its going to be glacially slow. At least there's more yuri in Urasekai Picnic next season if it does end up disappointing. Nice visuals anyway... although the astronaut was weird.

That slice serve is devastating... I remember it well from my ping pong days.

took me awhile to realize who is narrating.

Shimamura found a friendless girl hiding in the second floor of the gym..

what's that weird astronaut? (manga readers please do not answer, don't want to be spoiled. -- and I won't read any quote, just to be safe. lol) Seems to be some part of the plot. Makes me think there might be some mystery involved in this anime.

Episode 2 was a big improvement. Adachi has already realized her feelings and already seems past the denial stage. Shimamura looks like the super dense type, though.

Watched first episode. The visual effects were beautiful and kind of trippy. I enjoyed the sight.

But ... I have not seen this much thighs since Thighura. (Which had so much thigh that I still can't remember its real name without looking it up.)

It was an enjoyable episode.
