Was hoping for a voice joke when Wilhelm and Naofumi met since Naofumi's seiyuu Ishikawa Kaito voiced the young Wilhelm. We'll have to see how his gloomy and "tsundere" persona blends with the rest of the cast.
Also, chibi Raphtalia is even more adorable.

I'm kinda perplexed at how Naofumi was just portrayed as his heroic self and he wasn't subjected to any kind of joke. I hope that's going to change.

Anyway, shouldn't this be called Isekai Quintet now?

Someone on twitter complained about how him defending Raphtalia and Firo was played completely straight. However, consider this. He was defending them from Visha's baseball pitch.

They really tried to keep it from a voice joke by having Naofumi's look be the connection to Wilhelm.

Naofumi being played straight is the joke. I can't wait until the obvious scene where yun yun will try to befriend him and he will harshly reject her.

OP and ED make it clear Naofumi isn't one of the main characters. He was barely even in this episode. They didn't betray the title, this is still a Quartet.

ED is sung by the secondary heroines this time.
