The intention i had to make this topic to know more about the persons of this forum and what they prefer for anime and what they like that way we can give post`s to one and another if this topic gets deleted then that`s also okay

Kimi ga nozomu eien

When Takayuki after being depressed for so long surprises Mitsuki and takes her out to look for an appartment, the look on Mitsuki's fac was wonderful!

Maria-sama ga miteru

Not sure if this really counts as a love scene but the moment when Yumi kissed Rosa Gigantea and their embrace afterwards was on of the most touching moments so far

Da Capo

When Nemu falls really ill and her brother decides to stay with her instead of going to school, the tension hanging in the air was just beautiful

Some good picks so far! I've got to re-iterate some of 7thMethuselah's choices, but with different choices for scenes. My definition of love scene is more like "romantic moment", so it's not necessarily a "love scene" persay.

Da Capo

There are so many scenes that were good in this, which is probably why it's become one of my all-time favorite shows. For me, it was the end of episode 19 when Juunichi and Nemu kiss in her room and then it cuts to Sakura by the tree asking "Why?"... with the music and everything, it was just extremely well-done. The follow-up "morning after" was also just great. Of course, I liked almost all of the last part of the show, so it's hard to pick just one favorite scene!

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien

Being that I'm such a Haruka fan, I didn't get quite as many good romance scenes to choose from. That being said, the romantic in me still likes the ending of the first episode - just the way it was done was so nice, forgoing the ED and dwelling on the moment. As a Haruka fan, it made me happy (of course, the first time I watched it, I didn't know what was coming next!) Her ending was also very well done, although it was very bittersweet.

Fruits Basket

Although this was only a flashback, who can forget Kana and Hatori's romance from episode 8? Probably one of the most sad romantic tragedies I've seen in an anime, and so well done.

Ai Yori Aoshi & Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi

Basically, any scene involving the main romance, I like. The first few episodes are full of good romantic moments. When they share their first kiss in episode 15 is a highlight too - they even had a different ED to mark the occasion! Of course, the last two episodes were great too - really well done. In Enishi episode 9, we also get another special ED when they finally sleep together for the first time - another highlight.

Kanon

Spoiler:

A number of good moments in this show too, but the one that sticks out for me the most is when Nayuki kisses Yuuichi for the first and last time... a really bitersweet moment for sure. While I did like Ayu, I liked Nayuki a lot as well; I couldn't help but feel sad for her. Of course, you pretty much felt sad for all the girls in this show by the end!

Kimagure Orange Road (a bit of an older show!)

The moment that stood out for me the most, actually, is a bit of weird choice maybe - it was episode 39, the one where Madoka gets "hypnotized". Of course, if you've seen that episode, you'll remember that she wasn't actually ever hypnotized at all! In the end, Kasuga says something to the effect of how she's such a seductive angel, and he was right. Somehow, that really struck me as such a bold thing for her to do, and it was quite romantic! Really cemented their relationship in my mind, I think. Also lots of good moments in the two excellent movies.

I'm sure there are many more... but that's enough for now!

Well, for me I guess my favorites would be

Spoiler for Kenshin:

When Kenshin leaves for Kyoto and he and Kaoru have their parting scene with the fireflies flying around them. The scene was very touching, and very well animated. It was this scene, after the previous fight scenes, that really got me hooked on anime.

The other is Tohru and Kyo's scene together when she is hanging laundry. The sheets blow back and forth revealing one than the other's expressions. I thought it was very well done. I like that entire series quite a bit, and this scene is definately my favorite of all of it.

1) Shuuji loved Chise so much that he began to hallucinate about her after she died
2) Chise loved Shuuji so much that she sacrificed herself so he could live
i still like believing that Shuuji goes insane in the last episode rather than the mushy "i'm alive in your heart" thing

also, Akemi's death scene

Kippei and Kokoro, really every time they have a "moment" together it's really touching

Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito

the final confrontation between Hazuki and Eve/girl-of-way-too-many-names, it reminded me of Lunar a little...well if you've played Lunar you'd know
the setting was nice too, japanese mansion surrounded by stars...

Kaleido Star

i haven't seen much, but when Rosetta just jumps up, kisses Sora, and tells her something like "I like you!" or "You're my favorite!" it caught me off guard (i have a poster of a rendition of that scene hanging in my room...came with the DVD )

I'm really a sucker for any of the romance in KGNE, but the first intimate moment between Takayuki and Haruka left a lasting feeling in my heart...the look on her face, then the whole subversion thing with Akane...

There's also the anti-romantic scene where Haruka and Takayuki try again in the hospital room...he realizes his mistakes and cannot go further with it. The strength in that scene alone forces a heavy emotional response.

Pretty much the last 3 eps of both Kanon and Da Capo, but I shant go into that

Spoiler for Mahoromatic:

When Mahoro sends Suguru off and promises him that she'll find him again...it's quite a moment in a series full of moments.

Spoiler for Green Green:

When Futaba finally realizes that she cannot always be the strong one after she fell down the cliff and Yuusuke has to carry her back.

When Reika carries Midori through the tree, the look on both Futaba and Yuusuke's face...and the following scenes of Yuusuke remembering that he has forgotten somthing, just not able to figure out what it was. After the rollercoaster of a show such as Green Green, it made for a touching ending.

Spoiler for Chrno Crusade:

The night of the festival, when Rosette starts seeing Chrno as just more than a sidekick and begining to wonder about her future.

The last episode, watching through Azmaria's eyes the last months of Chrno and Rosette's life together.

I've got so many that I enjoy, but off-hand those are the ones that I can think of.

Da Capo when the maid goes (sorry, I am also bad with names) I thought it was romantic and in This Ugly Beautiful world the ending when takeru is seeing their future together and u see the baby that is sadly romantic. snif snif

Kinda minor, but I liked it when Kippei stuck his hand up Kokoro's shirt in Aishiteruze Baby. Some actual "sexuality." Not that it lasted very long or anything, though.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

When Misato listens to the recorded voicemail on her phone and then she hears Kaji's message,followed by a short flashback of a few seconds showing Kaji smoking his final stick and smiling this guilt-ridden smirk.
Misato then breaks down and crumbles to the floor and starts crying.
This my favourtie love scene because it has very strong emotional impact as compared to Love Hina and other shojo's

Ok as of recent anime I haven't seen too many things that have moved me. But these will always stick out in my mind as things that made me tear up(usually Movies):

I love the part where K1 backs up Bell with the Gungir Cannon thru the part where he tells her his new wish. (I was a tear factory)

Every single part with Achika and Nobuyuki they make the perfect couple and knowing she dying is really sad to-boot.

Spoiler for Here is Greenwood:

The part where Miya Igarashi is waiting for Hasakawa in front of the school and their whole conversation put me into a puddle of tears.

Hayama's second kiss, as a Christmas present. The first kiss was WHOOOOAAAAAA!!!!! but this one was Awwwwwwwwwww....

YKK is the best anime/manga that ever was, and is open to a LOT of speculation. But I think Alpha as well as Kokone was changed by that "transfer" when they first met. Hee hee I gotta start a delivery business!

Spoiler for Mahou Tsukai Tai OVAs:

Half of a love scene? Nanaka confession to Aburatsubo, and the emotions she shows with her expressions. Wow! The nuances in that anime were awesome, making it one of my top 10 out of many hundreds I've seen. You really gotta see it!

Spoiler for Maison Ikkoku:

This anime consistently ranks as one of the best romance animes. My favorite love scene is probably the entire last episode... Kyouko and ______ (watch the anime to find out who) finally getting married, letting go of the old husband, and having a baby.... oh lawd I think there's something in my eye. T_T I need a tissue.
