I'm excited after learning Artland studio will be doing the animation. Anyone who is watching Mushishi already knows how good this studio is. Yay!!

The happiness is already flowing. Thanks Neosam for starting the thread!

Nice. I saw some images from game last year, found a demo and put up a preorder after playing it for some 15 minutes. The art in Happiness is just adorable.
Cute bishoujo witches - aaahww...

All I know about Happiness! is that Watarase Jun,a minor character, is the most popular character in the game..and this girl's actually a 'he' ..which really doesn't matter cuz Jun's simply a girl with no boobs.
Still I'm curious how Jun will show in the anime, considering her(or his) popularity.

I'm willing to bet that this will be one of the more profitable projects for Artland raking in the cash so they can fund their more expensive work on more unconventional / cutting-edge programs such as Mushishi!

I also have the feeling this will be the 12-min 13-epper that will air back-to-back with that other Augustsoft game adaptation starting in October in what used to be the Wind / Hanihani timeslot.

I won't hold any grudges if so, after an anime such as Mushishi where the music, characters, and story comes together simply because of the magnificient water color drawing that empasizes on green and animation, but I can always hope you will turn out to be wrong.

Artland is also doing the current Bokura ga Ita, which I like the art/animation of but some other people don't. The look is even more different from Mushishi than Happiness appears to be.

As a 26-episode shoujo romance using lots of techniques for cheap production, it could be a money-maker, too, depending on how the target audience takes to it.

It seems Koyuki, Haruhi, Anri, and Ibuki's seiyuus are the same in the anime but Sumomo, Sayu and Jun's aren't. Shame about Jun since *gohon* Jun's voice is awesome, but Anri and Haruhi, banzai~!

The anime website just updated - http://www.happiness-anime.com/

Seems it'll pretty much follow the game's story, which isn't a bad thing.

Looks like a good moe series. I hope the short amount of eps doesn't force the anime to feel rushed or omit too many characters for sake of time, for which there seems to be a lot.

Why do the (IMO) good shows get relegated to 12-13 episodes while others get the full season treatment, I wonder?

Well, I guess that will do some good, in terms of enriching each episodes content, like what did to Haruhi (and perhaps, ZnT).

Having it 12-13 episode with high quality better then 24-26 episodes with normal quality. Or maybe because of financial issues >.>;
Another title into my "Wanted" list

Another one to put into my list. Artland animation is good. I love Mushishi and Bokura ga Ita. Seeing as this is from a hentai game it's a lot different then those 2

The design for the anime is close enough to the game design to please me.
Now, if the anime will have a lot of Suzuri I'll be more than happy.
