I have a question about the picture for Day 33. Did you manipulate it in a graphics program to get the darkened corners?

The couple on the bench, that's very nice.

I shoot RAW so at least the JPEG conversion hast to be done in post processing. I'm not really a "straight out of the camera" kind of guy, so none of those have really been spared of a good once or twice over in Photoshop Lightroom. So... Yes the darkening in the corners on Day 33. photo is artificial. It's been added with "post crop vignetting" setting in Lightroom.

I love your photography escimo! You're inspiring me to pick up my DSLR again after a couple years.... though it's not a very good one I'm itching to get back to it now after too much time with a point-and-shoot... Keep it up! I'll be lurking

Thanks! It was just a desperate quick shot from my balcony. (Kannelmäki, Helsinki, Finland to be more exact)

I like the way you take your pictures. Its like capturing the people in their normal pose unlike the usual obvious pose... its like capturing as if its you are getting them to pose naturally. Its hard to explain but I really like the style.....! I love the animals, you are really good even with animals... the landmarks, the still images are so nice!!! The emotions could be felt as if I'm seeing them in the actual environment. Keep it up, Sir.

Well... All of the photos of people apart from few are street photos and taken rather covertly so the poses are in fact completely natural. Which is one of the reasons I've been sucked into street portraiture lately. There's just a nice lack of pretense.

Loving the Helsinki at Night pics. I really like cityscapes at night because of the "unnatural" sense of no people and the ambient light. Early mornings tend to have a simlar effect on the earlier when I've tried it. Good work.
