Being able to brake down molecules by ripping off their binding electrons sounds like something she could do without becoming lvl 6. That also includes assembling new molecules together. This would be what I would consider the upper limit of lvl 5. It's well within her realm of control. Perhaps in time she might figure this out. The meltdowner's ability was geared more to this on an automatic level almost, thus her ability may be more limited then Misaka. As I don't think meltdowner could then proceed to do the reverse and put things back together like Misaka could eventually do.
As a possible lvl 6 ability, I think she may then be able to generate and manipulate Positrons. That is, a Positron is an anti matter version of the Electron. If she could generate a large amount of positrons and electrons at the same time, and then proceed to concentrate them together and have them annihilate like antimatter and matter does when they touch, she could generate a beam of pure energy that would be many many times more powerful then her railgun. Just imagine how powerful a gamma ray attack from a massive concentration of Positron/Electron annihilation would produce? Remember that Anti-matter and matter destruction into energy is the most perfect known matter to energy conversion known in the universe. Its E=mc2 on steroids. |

Uhm yes...There's no other thread on Misaka is there?
Perhaps you thought I was talking solely about meltdowner (I don't recall her name or can't really spell it right now. :P) when I just used her as a comparison in my post. Perhaps you thought I was talking about just her for some reason. The post was about possible abilities Misaka could develop. Thus this is the appropriate thread for this. |

^ well just as I said biribiri vs a super moeblob mio is a one sided fight for me -_-
I voted for Mio because for me biribiri shouldn't appear as such for moeblobsters. The anime might portray her like that and some part of the novel too but her own manga doesn't portray her like that most of the time.
