Bleach Episode 275 Discussion Thread

Good morning Bleach fans. Here is a good point that was brought in by an obviously bright Bleach fan, who might be too bright for this show if I might humbly add ( ).... why does Hitsugaya grows wings whenever he goes into his Bankai mode that are made out of ice? If the intention is to stay airborne, then he is more than capable of due to his massive reiatsu all captain class seem to have. When someone in Bleach has that sort of reiatsu, they can pretty much do moonwalk on thin air. So why does this shota need ice wing? Thanks for inspiring this week's opening post, Kaf!

I still find Hitsiguya disappointing as always. His moves never seemed as flashy since soul society arc ended.

Didn't mind Soi Fon fight scene. Shame she's missing her left arm now!

I guess because he's an Ice Dragon in bankai form even though they serve no purpose. He may as well have ice surrounding him similar to Byakuya's bankai to be honest.. because the only thing they do is act as an shield.

Lol two episode later animators remembered that Hitsugaya has time limiters... And hey! Why didn't they animate Hitsugaya's question? How do we know Halibel's name now?

Eh?! Did they really had to make Omaeda save Soi Fon? Like if she isn't disgraced enough already...

Man... something is wrong with me... why am I laughing so hard when Soi falls down screaming... yet I can't help it
She became bigger punching bag than she was in manga, poor her... but was nice to see her use something similar to Yoruichi's technique (like clone one).

Somehow I'm dissapointed with the roting moment... it just looks weird, like if they were deciding to censor it or no =/

Is it just me or animators are Soi Fon/Omade fans... so many moments... and what's with that comment "In any case, stop looking so hot and sticky"... please tell me that subs I saw are off 0_o

Otherwise I loled during almost whole episode... later will do some print screens.

And about special... do I sense Hitsu/Kira yaoi? And looks like we were right... they really are having a tea party

heh Kubo keeps forgetting the ice panels as well, but not as much as the anime did
which is strange because they are usually quick to unforget stuff Kubo did.. (Like the damage to Nnoitra's scythe)

I guess they were too lazy or were too concentrated on making Hitsu's failures fight to look at least somehow decent...

Ah, Soi Fon had joined the one handed division as well now.

Hmm? It was in the episode. I guess Hitsugaya's long speech about his powers made you fall asleep. He has that effect on people.

Whilst I was very pleased with the fillers last week, this week's were pretty boring. It was pretty much just Barragan trying to grope Soi Fon, well, I can't blame him for that, but trying to grope Oomaeda too is... Thank god he failed everytime. And am I really supposed to believe Oomaeda's attacks were going to hurt Barrangan even just a little?

Where? I have re-watched the episode from the begining and till Halibel became Christmas tree yet didn't hear the question and her answer... Am I that ignorant to him? 0_0

Yeh... most of the added fillers were meh here... though when Barragn went after her throat, it looked like a moment from nightmare... I really won't be suprised if she will have nightmares later

Right before he launched his attack. At 6:10 or so.

Not a bad conclusion to the fight. Wonder if the rationale was that having used up so much energy there was less of a chance for that last move to go out of control. Thought it was nice to bring up that old weather ability to combine with the finishing attack.

But out of all the fights I'm looking forward to really getting into the one with the #1 espada. Still this fight with #2 should be alright. Talk about a terrible opponent for Soi Fon who attacks directly. Almost ended right at the end of the episode if her arm wasn't cut off. Hopefully her bankai is packing a lot of power since she will seriously need it in order to survive this battle.

Because his powers stem from his fanbase, so when he grows wings, his fanbase multiplies many times over, and so does his reiatsu TW beat me to it

Now then, time to watch the actual episode!

EDIT: 44 minutes later...
In order of impression:
1) Those opening spoiler scenes are freakin' annoying! I'd rather watch a full minute of Ichigo walking down a road doing nothing else rather than this!
2) The SCG was a lot better though, gotta love how the table and chairs float on air (and what Tousen used as basis to make "tea" over town...). Yama's face=priceless
3) Barragan's release is godly and probably the most OP'd thing I've ever seen...terrible mismatch for hand-to-hand Soifon, gotta feel sorry for her.
4) Hitsugaya's power was pretty good too, although he got overshadowed by Barragan's display of power. If only they had shown it last week...
