But that makes a paradox since the Throne is outside of time and if she was placed in the Throne at one point she'd be always there at all times. Which isn't the case in FGO before the incineration.

Let's wait for the new game to explain things I guess.

Isn't FGO an "everything goes" world ever since it's history got incinerated? I mean even Rhongomyniad herself shouldn't have existed, so having Shishou not existing in the Throne before isn't that unexpected

Remake

Now that's some nice news . Honestly, it looks really good. Should be a strong remake and hopefully set the stage for a remake of CCC which could then actually be localized . But even just a really good remake of the original Fate Extra sounds awesome. Will be great to take on this journey with those three main servants again .

The common complaints I heard about the original game was the combat system, and it looks like the developers really refined it in the trailer, allowing you to input actions as the combat is happening, in exchange it looks like each action has an AP cost and each turn has set number of AP. It won't be a guessing rock-paper-scissors game most of the time (if at all).

I love Nero, just listening to her dialogue in the trailer during that combat section is amusing. Also, I'm glad they used female Hakuno during the trailer.

Darn. Been waiting for some sort of port for this for a while. Just glad it got announced. Hopefully it does well so that they can do it for ccc as well.

Yeah, looking around seems to be the case. Heck it seems like they are still trying to figure out how to remake CCC considering how lewd it is and "the current era of gaming." Of course if the sales are good and it looks profitable I'm sure they'll remake it. Just some extra challenges with CCC that they'll be figuring out while doing work on Record.

At least we're set for this to be awesome. And we'll have something great to replay while waiting on CCC to finally...finally get localized in a new form.

The trailer for Record looked good. They actually put effort into the graphics for this one, reminds me of Persona 5. Waiting to find out more about the changes made to the gameplay now. Kinda hard to tell here.

They already detailed the changes to the battle system in the live stream they did with Niinou the director and Kana Ueda. In lieu of the old RPS system from the original, it's now a deck-building system. Each turn you draw a hand of 5 possible cards from your deck, you must spend AP to use them, any that are unused are discarded and when your whole deck is discarded it resets upon the next turn. After battles you will have the opportunity to add new cards to your deck.

Card effects I've seen from gameplay in both the trailer and the live stream include things such as "deal 6 damage", "guard 5", "next attack is a critical (double damage)", "increase attack power by 2 this turn", "deal 3 damage 3 times. attack power increases by 1 for each successful hit".

Skadi is a goddess and a Lostbelt king who is using her a vessel, don't try to compare her with regular Scathach like you can't compare Arjuna over the Gods with regular Arjuna.
