Hearing that DOGE peeps are muscling in on US AID offices/workspaces while hearing that Trump wants to put USAID until State Department control, which would end it being an independent office.
Sadly hearing MAGAs calling USAID the other party's cashcow/wallet.

USAID will be a good demonstration to see whether this administration is following Project 2025. If they are, it should see at least the following changes:
- A couple of additional political appointees to deal with hiring, and complete restaffing of the DDI (Bureau for Democracy, Development, and Innovation) - Disentanglement from the UN and global NGOs in favour of religious organizations - Cutting from Yemen and Afghanistan. To a lesser degree also Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine. - Aid to Latin American and African governments contingent on implementing free market policies, and rejecting the Chinese.

FYI folks, USAID websites have gone dark.
Some peeps following this speculate that it could (depends) lead to the creation of organizations fully dedicated to humanitarian work (independent) that have bigger budgets like USAID from employees if they're permanently kicked out. PS - Heard that no USAID can lead to China/Russia doing the humanitarian work.

He has unresolved feelings about South Africa but yes, this will lead to China and Russia filling the vacuum. Does this mean that the US is actively trying to cede influence and ::gasp:: promote a multipolar world? No, because the Trump admin is still making claims about wanting to control Panama, Greenland, and Canada. Ceding influence happened by accident because MAGA are just dumb. Now if he decouples the US from Israel, I'll admit I'm wrong //

How many days was it since the inauguration? It's just worse than awful, it's literally a mutiny without guns, a decapitation strike on almost everything, short of the horde marching to where the copy of the US Constitution is housed, smashing the box and burning it.

... of course they would not do that, they will save said document as a reminder of what a "failed state" was before the "glorious oligarchy" took over and made everything (far-)right. Of course they plan to march to the capitol again when they require legislators and the scotus to bend to their every whim if not outright declare a non-constitutional monarchy.

For Canada, most likely; there's an accreditation process, but most people tend to be okay because American and Canadian post-secondaries are similar. Professional licenses like those for medicine and engineering have different standards and you'll need to verify before you're able to practise (I think US certified doctors can gain full licenses in Canada, but engineers need to re-license through provincial engineering boards).

Hey, where did that Trumper go? Hey, how do you feel about a foreigner and his Gestapo boys getting your social security information?
Congress being taken completely by Yes-men Republicans isn't bad enough, but President Musk trying to skip them all-together with a shadow organization is flabbergasting. God can only hope the remaining check-and-balances can stop that buffoon.

The American people as a whole bought this current state of affairs. They've had plenty of warning and plenty of time to understand what they were getting themselves into.
At this point I hope they get exactly what they paid for. Actions need consequences.

Snowflake couldn't handle the truth.
I do wonder what trump supporters think about the ethnical cleansing he announced for Gaza. Because if they think "it is not my problem" they will be shocked when trump does the same in the USA, the deportations of brown skinned people is only the start, later on he will strong arm some african country to accept african americans, mark my words, because Guantanamo has a limit of how much people it can handle, of course, unless they are cosidering implementing the "Final Solution". |

The short answer is Trump supporters don't care about the ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
That is not exclusive to Trump supporter. I don't think most American actually care about that. But, I think that most Americans SHOULD care about 1. US boots being on Gaza 2. continued unwavering military and economic support for Netanyahu 3. US intentionally isolating itself from the UN, weakening itself. I have said this before, but the primary reason why Osama Bid Laden attacked the US wasn't our culture. It was the US support for Israel. Many conservatives seem to either look away from that fact or double down and say we must invest double in Israel. //

Or they want someone to do another attack. Best excuse the US ever gets to unleash the military is when someone attacks us. Pearl Harbor. 9/11. As the memes go, the attacking party finds out "the US has no chill."
