I haven't been able to work on chapter 2 yet, I'll hopefully get started this weekend... I can't do it oevr spring break either 'cause I got drafted into some stupid trip without any word on my part >.>

Sorry to hear, I'd offer to help but my computers kinda screwed up right now and im a total n00b when it comes to photoshop-type things lol, but curious, which program(s) do you use when editing?

I only use Photoshop Elements 2.0, and even then with the horrible equipment it's nto too bad :3 The only tough part comes when there's text without a word bubble, and you have to redraw what the english text didn't cover up :3

Man, this chapter is much harder than the last one... o.o; Nearly every page includes some form of redrawing...

I'm almost half-way done with this, but it'll be a bit longer ^^;

And also, doing Rika's "Nipaaah!" is fun :3

Er, I finished cleaning chapter three in the beginning of January. No idea what unasuvas is doing. Is she aiming for a group batch?

But uhm, if anyone would like me to help with cleaning and I guess type-setting, just give me a shout. Besides the lone Umineko chapter, I've only done some Nanoha related items.

Did you get a chance to check out those tutorials and learn how to level?

Also, how are the file sizes coming out?

I remembered the leveling trick about 15 pages in ^^; I'll probably go back and see what I can do, and as for file sizes, I'll be checking on those periodically, just to make sure it's not absolutely massive

Dude offered his services, I figured you might be swamped with all the translated chapters?

It's completely in your court.

Xuia, have you edited stuff before?

Do you know about redrawing/cropping/leveling/have wild-words or anime ace/know where to get lots of cool fonts/etc?

If you're confident I'm down, scanslation tests always seemed like a huge waste of time to me. If you've got 10 hours to waste redrawing some ridiculous two-page spread (know how to join pages by the way?) you minds well be editing something worthwhile!

I'm not totally swamped, but any help is appreciated ^^; I'd probably like to keep in contact with him so we can work out how to keep consistency between the two of us with fonts and sizes and all that. But I'm all good for help! :3

Does anyone know a good OCR software with support to Japanese? And that is free?

I was wondering about translating 'Kaidan to Odorou' (by Ryuukishi too), and that would be quite some help... would increase my translation speed...

The ones I've used so far are just the stock ones that I already have. Comic Sans MT for the regular type, usually bold and around 24-36 size, depending on the impact ^^ When there's a shout, or a reeaaally harsh message, I'll use Australian Sunrise (not bold) and raise the height of the words... But it all depends on what we think is best ^^

How about this? How about we switch off chapters? I do a chapter, then you do one, then I do one, and so on. That'd work for me, since some times are much busier than others ^^
