The suspicions are due to the fact that 2 out of the 3 people in the Idiot Trio just happen to be pretty important people so far and also the fact that Aogami was dodging esper attacks pretty easily in Daihasei. Plus, it's entirely possible that if Aogami was the sixth Level 5 he somehow managed to hide himself as a Level 0, probably to get rid of people bothering him or something.

It all fits. Plus, I'd like to see him actually do something cool for once instead of just spouting perverted comments all the time.

As for the Dorm Manager, I don't even consider her human anymore...

Really? I guess she's a potential candidate then, as well as Ao. We'll just have to see. I wonder if there are any Level 5's elsewhere in the world though... Hm...

I really want to see Queen already. Her power seems so cheap.

Aiwass isn't female, is androgynous the chinesse translations uses "she" to avoid the excessive use of "it", same with Gabriel.

Make a more powerful Level 5 attack her, duh.

I doubt she could control your mind if you hit her unexpectedly and make her lose her focus. If you're going by that logic than ALL of the Level 5's have cheap powers, especially Accel and Kakine, who are pretty much guaranteed to not be affected by the Queen's abilities at all.

One doesn't. Unless one manages to disrupt her concentration. That's the power of a level 5- being able to take on armies and in a normal game/book, be a Haxx

Does Accelerator have the potential to deflect her "stare"? I would only assume so.

Accelerator has the ability to deflect vectors- and AIM I believe, so he'd be able to deflect her AIM when he's in full mode. Really though- the queen is a hikkimori and doesn't come out of whereever she is, so a fight between the two is just about impossible to tell.

The Queen probably emits some sort of brain wave to control people or something. It definitely won't work against Accel's autoreflect, which protects him everything including things not able to be seen by the human eye. As Accel states himself in Volume 12, "He's an ESPer who observes, calculates, and controls every vector in the world. If he lets as much as the invisible and the inaudible past, he would be unable to defend himself against the likes of radiation."

Those are pretty much my reasons for thinking he is number 6. Not to mention it seems a bit late to introduce a new character to be the 6th level 5. having someone already known be the 6th, especially someone like Aogami, would give more of a shock, and would be cooler for the story.

I've started to read the Light Novels, and believe me, it's beyond interesting. If only I didn't spend the entire first half of my day on the computer, that way the reading experience would be much more enjoyable without these burning eyes.

Tokiwadai Dorm Manager is CONFIRMED that she isn't a esper: Nayuta can't see any AIM field from her. Even Gunha, though his power isn't exactly definable she can see some kind of field around him.

As for Aogami- his power level is never mentioned. People automatically assume its zero, but apparently, before Touma lost his memories, he considered asking Aogami for help- even after discarding Misaka as an idea.

Technically... there have been no canon instances where the Dorm Manager has ever met Mental Out. Tokiwadai has two dorms, one inside the 'School Garden' and one outside it. Mikoto is in the one outside it and Mental Out is in the dorm inside School Garden. The dorm inside School Garden was shown once in Railgun with Kongou Mitsuko's room I think.

And technically again, the Dorm Manager didn't fight Gunha... She asked Gunha to stop fighting and Gunha accepted her offer, since he didn't want to end up like Mikoto, who's KOed.

And as for the above view that the Dorm Manager is a saint like Acqua... I wouldn't be surprised if that turns out to be the case

Kanzaki ss part 4 summary:

Spoiler for kanzaki ss pt 4:

This time, the problem is that the "Brick Wharf" located in northern Scotland is taken over by an opposing force. That opposing force is actually an artificial magic lifeform created by the person who manages the wharf. The wharf is actually from the Industrial Revolution period, but is now used as one of the main magical defenses of the United Kingdom. If this facility is destroyed or if other countries know of this incident, it could mean danger to the country. Kanzaki and co are sent to resolve the matter before it worsens.

There, they meet up with スラッパール (the manager of the wharf), who claims to be chased out of the building by Alfar. 3 KM away from the wharf, they talk about a couple of things.
1) スラッパール is incapable of using complex magic. He was born with this disadvantage.
2) He careated Alfar (the artificial lifeform who captured the facility) to help him cast complex magic and overcome his weakness.
3) Alfar possesses the knowledge to run the facility, and can possibly create more artificial lifeforms.
4) The wharf's main weapon is a magical cannon with a 200 KM range. The cannon fires an invisible blast that analyzes the victims' magic and sends out a signal to make them lose control of their magic and damaging their bodies.
5) Alfar probably rigged the cannon so that when she dies, the cannon would be destroyed, thus crippling the UK's defenses.

They were able to get this close to the building by hiding from bush to bush. Then Kanzaki just stood up and walked towards the building without getting hurt even if she was hit. This is because the Amakusa's magic is a mix between Christianty, Bhuddism and Shintoism. If the cannon reacts to her Christianity-based magic pattern, she can immediately change to Bhuddism. Then when the cannon reacts to her Bhuddism magic pattern, she can change to Shintoism and so forth. By cycling her magic patterns, she can effectively avoid the effects of the cannon and walk towards the building without being hurt.

Once inside the building, she meets Alfar. After fending off a creature with the head of a crocodile and the body of a dog that Alfar sent out, Alfar ran away, then later Kanzaki discovered a room with more monsterous-looking creatures in large spherical containers (not sure what the correct term for those "containers" are). She thought Alfar created them to help her fight. Then she was surprised attacked by Alfar. Meanwhile, waiting outside, when the jeans shop owner was about to go towards the building to help Kanzaki, he was surprise attacked by スラッパール.

Back inside the facility, Kanzaki was unharmed by Alfar's surprise attack by using her wires to create a 3D magic "circle" that protected her from Alfar's attack. Alfar then told her that she didn't create those other lifeforms. They were originally normal animals that "evolved" into their current monstrous state because of Alfar's existence. It seems that Alfar has the power to cause life around her to evolve, and humans are no exception. The evolution happens within a few hours. Those monstrous-looking creature were put into those containers by Alfar to slow down their "evolution". It seems that even if she dies, her corpse would still have the same effect, so committing suicide would not make things better. Because Alfar doesn't want to affect people and animals around her anymore, she decided to isolate herself in this facility until she finds a solution.

Then スラッパール appeared and attacked Kanzaki. スラッパール fights by by creating and using trillions of snowflake-like runes to generate a flood of acid (Alfar also uses the same way of creating runes as スラッパール). It's a simple magic, but he can make up for it with amount. However, Kanzaki easily defended against the attack. He explained that natural alfars (elves) also have the ability to cause life to evolve, but at a much slower rate. スラッパール initially created Alfar to help him overcome his weekness, but the "finished product" just happened to have a much more magnified evolution-inducing power than natural elves. スラッパール wanted to make use of Alfar's evolution-inducing property to make himself evolve so that he could lose his weakness. During the development, he did some adjustments to the wharf's magical defence cannon. But because it became a big issue, he had to notify the Necessaruis. As such, he made a lie and pretended to be defeated and chased out of the building by Alfar.

Next, Kanzaki attacked Alfar with her wires and killed her. Seeing that his only hope was lost, スラッパール lost the will to battle and was captured by Kanzaki. However, Alfar didn't die. Kanzaki only scratched her, then used her own blood together with some magic to make it look like that blood splurted out of Alfar's body, and it tricked スラッパール to make him think that Alfar died. In the end, Alfar was being taken to another research facility which is currently developing a spiritual device to control this kind of evolution-inducing power.

Seriously, it's getting boring. I don't like the fact that this SS is not one big continuous story. It feels like every time the villains do these kinds of stuff for petty reasons, and the way these issues are resolved lack any sort of excitement or surprise. This SS is really uninteresting compared to the Stiyl/Bardway SS and the Railgun Liberal Arts City SS. But I'm still going to continue reading it because I'm interested in the Bardway chapter and the Valkyrie chapter.

What I do like is that the jeans shop owner never fails to mention "the middle schooler Saten-san".
