Easy enough: I don't. Aorii did it so far. He was close to suicide a few times because it was so horrible. (I also like reading her, in Japanese. I feel like I could listen to it for hours... (and then get another trauma since "nanodesu"))

With the exception of the promised V8C1 and V8C2, and possibly V3Epilogue, I intend to not translate anything from the novels, because I don't like translating. I mainly do the first round of editing for "she who must not be named for her wrath is more fearsome than mine", my cute anon-san who's working on V5 right now.

By the way, I like the "Death to those who defy Kadi's will!". You can do that more often...

Okay this may sound like i'm complaining, but i'm not okay, i just wanted to ask why people are translating different volumes and different part of the novel instead of going through it in order because from my opinion and i do mean my opinion i prefer to read the novel in order so that the plot makes sense to me....
so i said it, DON'T HATE ME T_T i just wanted to know why........

Aorii wanted to finish V1 at least. Anon-san liked V5, so she started there, then changed to V2P on Aorii's request. Then zzhk joined and continued with V2, so Anon-san returned to V5 since she doesn't care about V3 and V4.

V3 is in the past and can be mostly left alone; lchigo considers translating it in a few months though, and there's someone I don't know who ninja-finished the prologue, too. Aorii now does V4, and everything works out.

Also, having multiple people work on the same volume would only lead to trouble.

Haven't you read Hayate no Gotoku? A-tan is the nickname of Athena, Hayate's first love.

I think I started with it, I think. And no, I haven't read a lot of Hayate no Gotoku, so I didn't know. ... but isn't the nickname in Japanese longer than the original one? A-A-Ta-N (4) vs A-Te-Na (3)... weird manga.
