Yeah, usually I like the alternate Megumi's, but this is one occasion where I prefer the regular one.

That would be great, but given Souma's glance when he asked for the knife, that's not going to happen.

After all the focus on their friendship beforehand I wonder if Megumi voting for Asahi will cause any kind of rift in her relationship with Souma. Probably not but it would be the first time a best friend votes against him and he really hates losing.

That's not going to happen. He would never hold that against her. He'd be pissed if she did the opposite, voting for Soma just because he's her friend.

In SnS. Food testers are incapable to lie. Megumi can be Soma's wife and she will still vote for others if his food sucks.

Well, we do have judges that aren't impartial. Case-in-point: the judges hired by Eizan earlier when there was that little war between his side and Souma's. They lied.

so i assume, got beaten for many times by joe, indeed made soma mentally retarded, never give up isn't his strong point, but a disease.

Iron21 Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008	Spoiler for Chapter 275 spoilers: I know this really isn't ntr, but I think the author was trying to invoke those emotions here. Soma got destroyed, told to keep his knife because Asahi didn't want a downgrade. Then he carried Erina away princess style and when Soma tried to challenge him again, he literally got thrown in a trashcan. Hope this pays off because Tsukuda have some balls on him for going in this direction. From early reactions, seems like most are happy that Soma got trashed. Wonder how the Japanese readers are gonna react. Asahi looking good this chapter too, he's pretty much an upgraded Soma right now.
