I heard the OP is Renai Circulation backwards? It's actually kind of genius given the theme of this arc.

It's not literally backwards, it's a dark version.

I literally yawned every 30 seconds during the first part. Thank god for kuchinawa scarying me. It is like Bake episode 7 all over again. I don't see this going well until the last episode unless they show us interesting visuals. New ED didn't help either.

Is Oonuma back at shaft? He did the OP. I thought he is an in-house director in silver link studios?

Hmm. Loved the opening of the story.
The ED seems better than previous one from Haruna Runa (that one sucked).
The OP is fine to me.

I saw this episode, too, and I liked how they did the "White Medusa" effect on Nadeko. But I didn't like how weak Shinobu was (maybe her dark dress is to blame), and how easy Komoni was injured (very bloody!). We see Ougi Oshino again, and here she talks more that in Kabukimonogatari. I know that we will see her again on the other Monogatari stories.

The rhythm sounds like a samba to me. But I wonder if the voice actress changed. This Nadeko doesn't sound like the Nadeko in Bakemonogatari.

Different strokes for different folks.
Aiwoutae really grew on me and now I love it to death but this new song does absolutely nothing for me. Visuals weren't as striking as Kabuki's ED either.

Maybe its because she's talking a whole lot more?

Maybe it's just the tone of the story, too. She sounds the same to me.

Mayoi Jiangshi is happening during Tsubasa Tiger right ?

So Nadeko Medusa is after Tsubasa Tiger if i make no mistake.

So when Araragi called Kanbaru for help, during Tsubasa Tiger, it was for another different story ?

I like the OP. It gives off an ominous vibe while still being cute. It's not as good as Renai Circulation but it was pretty much impossible to top it anyway.

The prologue was insane and ended on quite a cliffhanger. A battle that can only end with Araragi or Nadeko's death? Surely there is a third option. Obviously Araragi won't die but I can't see them killing off Nadeko either. Given the events that transpired in this episode, I'd say it's pretty obvious Ougi is the cause of this apparition. She couldn't be more suspicious even if she tried. I doubt she's actually Oshino's niece.

I'm happy we got another story narrated by the heroine rather than Araragi, especially since it means hearing Kana more~

Mayoi and Tsubasa's arcs took place in August. This is October 31rd, so yes, this arc takes place after them. Whatever happened to Araragi during Tsubasa Tiger remains untold.

Really great opening episode. I'm excited for this arc.

Delicious episode. I eagerly await the next episode. The themes of self-pity and victimization makes this apparition one of the more interesting ones from this series to me.

Never liked Nadeko much...



...but this episode was pretty entertaining, and the arc's theme makes it a promising one. I also really liked the OP. But then again, I also loved Renai Circulation (at least until I heard that version with Kira singing it...).

So I guess I can say that I'm pretty excited about what's to come.

The second oshino appears. Weird she really looks monkey. Nadeko probably has the most interesting route out of all the characters.

Hey, did anybody notice that Nadeko's phone card has a picture of Mami from Madoka Magica on it? :P It wasn't the full picture, but it was the bottom half of the picture of Aoki Ume's original character design for Mami from way back in 2010, and I recognized the boots.
